I had an issue with a mobile that I had to send back. Told me to ship back in original box but I didn’t have it. I wrapped to cyclone proof and sent back. Heard nothing for weeks so I rang them and was told the goods were damaged in transit. I explained very forcefully that I expected that exact response and have photos to prove it was returned physically undamaged and packaged soundly. He immediately changed his tune and within a week was given credit to purchase a new phone.
Turned out alright in the end but F^% them for trying it on.
Good luck.Well I had an absolute ball. My first OB ride, was nice to meet you all. (though I knew a few of you already).
Thanks LC for leading us on some pretty cool trails, and the sweeps for eating all that dust. Thanks Galey for the ST rivalry, I love that sh#t. And Nick, hope you pulled up ok after being dragged off ya bike by the neck from that thick vine. Looked horrible from my vantage point right behind you. Hope to be on another OB ride again soon.cheers, Bernie

With Peg out, we have a bed for you if you want it.

Can you put me down for a bed in your cabin, thanks mate
Rid33R te300.No Worries. You have a whole room at this stage
LC4skin wrote:There are quite a few people on the list that I haven’t ridden with and don’t know. Although the grading is 3.5-4 and there are no massively hard obstacles this ride will be 2 and a half days of tight but fun trails not overgrown fire roads but proper hand cut single with some short transport sections.Anyone that has ridden down there or with me will know what to expect and there won’t always be a quick and easy way back to the cars.
Not trying to be rude I just want everyone on this ride to enjoy themselves and not struggle too much.
Cheers
Matt (LC)Hi Matt,
I’d be one of those on the list you haven’t ridden with. I’m ok with the grade, terrain etc. I’ve booked a cabin for myself, so if anyone still needs a bed or 4, let me know, I’ve got plenty.
See you there
Bernie

Hi LC,
Can I go on the reserve list.
Bernie
Good news (for me anyway) is a wreckers just got back to me and says he’s picking up a 99 model on Fri that’s had a front ender. They are getting rarer.
Thanks Ollie but to far away. Yep $900+ for genuine. Saw some after market race ones from $600 to $900.
Or ebay ones for $25. Scarey. But there’s only $1 worth of electronics in it, no matter how much you charge.Micknmeld, what I mean by popped is my regulator went high, 21volts and the CDI no longer works. checked on a mates bike. No Spark. I did bang it too.
does anyone have a map of the rally so we know how the loop starts and finishes. Riding their tomorrow with a mate if any ones keen. Grade 3.
mine was soccer. 2 strokes are FUN. Enough said
Yep, I agree. They hold their own well. That could be mine in that awesome photo of yours. Only difference is I took all the heavy stock lights, blinkers, speedo, brackets off the handle bars. 2.5kg off the top of your steering. Makes the bike handle much better. Imagine a pushy with a 2.5kg bag of spuds tied to the handle bars. I’m out for a week too. Bruised ankle.
Scotty I’m on an old 98 RMX250 at the moment. Its way newer than my last trail bike so it feels modern to me even though its old. Put a PWK carb on it with is better. I’ve been able to keep up with most other riders, except traction is noticeably less. One day I’ll update, but its kinda fun trying to keep up with a 14k 450 on a 2k ride.
