Yeah Boze you’d prob want to give it a bit of a freshen up. Mines got 9700ks/270hrs pretty sure it’s the first rebuild..I’d say your piston would be stuffed,check your timing chain to,mine was stretched to the shithouse..
was getting a bit low on compression and with all the rain we’ve been having thought would be a good time to tear it down Glad I did

I’m sending the cylinder to powerseal in the states,$320aus inc postage,,that’s not bad??

Cheers, i got a quote off electosil today $540 with a 2 day turnaround..also got a quote off f1moto $450 with a 4week turnaround as they send overseas, will contact millennium and aurum tomorrow..yeah hb I have the new piston to send off with it,kinda wish I hadn’t already purchased the piston as I can get the oem piston and cylinder off ktm for $800, anyways I’m saving money doing it myself so that’s one thing I guess.

no compression…gouges in the piston….Im no mechanic but you definantly need it checked out before you keep riding it.. :unsure:

Same happened to me with a SSB lithium had in the bike for about 4 months or so (riding every weekend) then all of a sudden it went dead and wouldn’t charge…took it back to the dealership where I bought it they couldn’t charge it either so they replaced it. Not sure if it was just a dud but the one I have in the bike now has been good for over 8mnths
