I agree with what everyone has already said, but I went with a different brand to kibble whites and had the new valves re-seated. The bike will get it first run this weekend with my younger brother on board. Here’s hoping.
In essence Snowy, while you have the super sweep on the job contact Matt and order a stainless valve kit. From memory I think the kibble whites were $192-00 and the brand I went with was $142-00 which was pro X. I hope this helps.Buzz
Hey Snowy. I’ve got the solution in the top drawer of the kitchen cupboard. It’s called a box of matches mate.
And you know I’ve got experience in this area 2 sets of valves in 500 K’s with a 250X
But seriously have you had to re-shim the valves at all. If so I would suggest that maybe you should consider taking the top off and have a look at the valves. Also take the air filter out and shine an LED torch down there and see if you can see any dustBuzz

Why isn’t that hill in the normal Nundle loop???
Looks like it would sort a few out 👿
Thanks for sharing
Cheers
MurphBecause a lot of people will think they can do it only to find it is too hard and it is a long way back around the easy way. It was on the Sunday ride of the Nundle ride but we went down it . It is always on the extreme ride that Bollocks puts on Murph so keep an eye out for it mate it will not disappoint

Hi Ted, from memory I think it was held in June last year and should be held around the same time this year.
It’s a great family weekend. The loop is only around 45 K’s and even confident novice kids can do the loop. There is a 12km long hard section that produces a lot of carnage and starts and finishes near the half way mark.
If work permits I will definitely be taking the you gone up for it.Buzz
You’re more than welcome any time Nathan.
The day started out pretty bad for me having to carry Gumby for the first half of the ride and he made me pay for it a couple of times with having a couple of offs. But once we hit the Berry Patch I kicked him off and I think he found a DRZ to climb onto as I had a great ride back to the cars.
As Nathan has said it was a bit dusty out in the open, but once we got back under the cover of the trees it was just superb conditions:- no dust and damp loamy soil that had plenty of grip.
I absolutely enjoyed the day.
Thanks Paul, Boony and Snowy for leading for the day and thanks Super Sweep Damus for for cleaning up at the back as usual. Also thanks to Ranger Rick for taking over from Damus when he had to lead a downed bike out.
I can’t forget all the other riders that showed up to make the ride so good.Buzz
What are you doing in the back of Ricks shed Snowy

Hey Andy. Talk to Matt’s wife Linda, I think she is into that stuff. Otherwise go down to Fitness Plus and see a lady named Mandy Lord. I know she competes regularly. I know they don’t come from Newcastle but I’m sure either one would be able to help out with your bike selection
Hope this helpsBuzz
