    +1

I’ve said it before. I have road bikes for the road, dirt bikes for the bush. I’m all for rec-rego.

If MX bikes are so much better in the bush why do they make Enduro bikes with heavier flywheels, softer suspension and 18″ wheel?

I never said MX bikes are better in the bush.

I know I like my MX bike. Sure, I can’t ride it anywhere near its potential ( though I am getting quicker on it) but hey, I don’t care. I’m having a shiteload of fun on it. :)

If rec-reg comes in I will rec-reg my MX bikes. Simple.

    Track, Road, Potato, Potarrrrrto. :P

I wouldn’t be riding it down the tar,,,, that’s what I have a road bike for. Dirt bike for the dirt (rec-reg would be lovely for that one), Road bike for the road that I pay full rego on.

Hell I love my YZ. If I could Rec-Rego it I would be on to that so fast all you would see would be blue sweet smelling 2T smoke heading down the road.

Thanks for that. I am really happy with how the bike came up. Just needs a black seat cover and black tank now.

There are no stickers on the helmet. That bad boy came from the factory with that sexy paint job ;)

Graphics arrived and are on. Very stressful job applying new graphics ;)

I wanted something to match my new helmet. I’ve always been a fan of old style fighter planes, hence the choice of the Fox Bomber helmet I have.

Luke was great to work with. He took my vauge idea of what I wanted and made it happen. He was always quick to get back to me and send me updates. When I wanted to add some things at the last minute he did so with no hassle.

Price was great. NZ$405 with postage. I think that was about AUD$318 at the time I placed the order.

The finish is great. The material is nice and thick and the printing is top knotch.

From the time I started talking to Luke to when I got them was about 3-4 weeks. Most of this was back and forth doing the design.

I am really happy with the graphics and will buy from Luke again.

Sorry about the crap photos. Only just finished putting them on. I’ll get better pics in the sun tomorrow.

No great rush, maybe in January?

    Cheers

Oh yeah, Mal has settled right in. ;)
Me-“Hey Mal, want to come throw bikes around and old industrial site?”
    Mal-” Yes, yes I do”

    Having way too much fun.

Here is a video we cut together late last night.

Mal does some solo work after the credits.

I’ll give Tee n Cee a look for the next set. We have 4 bikes that need new graphics for the show.

I actually didn’t even look around at other graphics guys as it was a “ooo, you do graphics,,,, I actually think I would like a set” kind of thing.

I am not looking forward to putting them on. Terrified I will screw it up. Going to take my time and follow an “How to” that I have here.

    No particular reason.

I came across him on an FMX forum I am on. It is a new business, his designs looked good and we got chatting so I thought I would give him a go.

I paid NZ$405 for them. Didn’t even realise that was NZ dollars until last week. So it was a pleasant surprise that they came in a bit cheaper.

No-one else finds it amusing that this Bob Wiley is a self confessed T-Bagger?
