Sounds good to me. I’ll be subscribing as well. Cheers for organising that STM.
When are you coming back up for a ride Twobanger?
Mal and I are planning a trip out to FreeFlight at some stage. Wanna come?
God, I loved that RZ. Crazy, buzzy bit of gear that it was.
I’m watching an RZ350 on Ebay at the moment. No idea why, the last thing I need is another project bike.twobanger wrote:
Quote:Capt your new yami looks trashed mate! looking forward to seeing it in action, and looks like youve upped the anty going for neck braces now………….Hehe, luckily it is mostly dust and mud from the track
New rear guard on order, new helmet on order and neck brace as well.
Will do. If I could get it approved I would be keen to head to FreeFlight for the day this coming Saturday or Sunday.
Not sure my wife would be keen though
Also want my new helmet and neckbrace before I head out again.
Hi Riggs, nice to meet you and Cathi as well.
Only just got back so haven’t had time to write a ride report.
Had a good day though. Even with my crash over the doubles.
Here is the YZ after:
The moral to the story is hit everything fast. I had no issues clearing the doubles. This crash happened when I was just rolling over the last set at walking pace.
Hoping to organise a trip out to FreeFlight next.
See you there tomorrow.
You can’t miss my rig. Big enclosed float with sign writing all over it on a black Pajero.
Hehe, Thanks Guys.
When I get the track in I’ll organise a ride/camp up there and post it.
Very true
Decided to stay home this weekend so heading back up the paddock to do some more work on the track. That slippery section in amongst the pines is shaping up nicely. Getting some nice shallow berms starting to form. The Raptor is great for cutting the track in with.
Just need to get a Bobcat up there to put in some better jumps.
It’s been going on down here lately as well. Lots of bikes and farm machinery being pinched.
So to all the thieves out there, I have 2 large dogs, guns, a shovel, plenty of land and I don’t mind watching you dig your own holes.
Hope you get your bikes back.
Check out the rest of the videos they have up as well.
Hmmm, doing everything you shouldn’t do with a quad

Hiya Blue, I can’t get over how rideable a modern 2T is. My ’91 CR250 was like a light switch, either sitting there idling or trying to kill me.
The YZ wants to kill me,,,,, it is just better to ride whilst it is doing it
In that little bit of video, the last wheelie I do was in top gear. All I did was wind the throttle a little more and up it comes. I love it. Every gear change the front wheel will lift if you want it to. As you said, doesn’t matter where in the rpms you are, it will do it.
I have also found that it will be (resonably) nice and polite if you want it to as well.
Everyone that has had a ride says it scares them but they love riding it.
I was dicking around yesterday doing little stoppies, then a little wheelie followed by another little stoppie etc etc. It is so light and easy to play with.
Love the 2 strokes
Yep, it is pretty slippery around here at the moment.
We were down at a mates place in Camden yesterday playing with the bikes.Mainly on the quads and just a little play on the YZ.

I love what I get to do
