at least i dont have to put the ute into 1st to get up some of those hills on the way out! The mighty triton does ok…. untill it gets bumpy!!

good point. i carry my mobile phone with me, not ideal i know, but can often get service on top of a hill, not deep in the bush obviously, but keeps piece of mind at watagans at least!

If you get some more info, feel free to pass it along as i like all the little gadgetry that comes with adventure riding!!

i wouldnt mind getting my hands on a little 2 way also garry. 5 watt would be good for distance but but bilky and expensive. i dont know much about them, but definately would be a good idea on the trail. Have a look in outdoor mags, there is a little device called SPOT i think?! its like an epirb type thingy, but family/friends can track your progress via satellite, and has a bunch of features. Might be worth a look, just a thought.

well im back online and ready to ride!!! been a bit slack on the obt site, but need to get as many rides in for yellow mountain prep, so TB pencil me in for the xmas bash, i might be posting onto a ship next week so wont know for sure if ill have the time off. but ill pm ssshhteve when i know for sure and if theres any room left!!

im running one of ollie’s filters in my wr, clean it out with every oil change, no dramas what so ever. haven’t used compressed air once.

did very little actually Mick. Ant got a hold of me but we couldnt settle on a mutual date for a ride, which is a shame because it would have been good to take him out for a bash in Victorian bush!! Next time perhaps!

Well its ben a little while since my last post (over a month now!!) and not much riding has been had!
Will be going for a squirt this week end, but oyu will have to scratch me from the hill end ride TB, have some other priorities to attent to!
