Im attempting to fabricate a nice alloy bash plate for Ollie’s new gasser at work. Looking good so far, just need to bend and tig weld it together. If it works, he should have it on for the xmas doo!
Welcome to the Missus!!!
ive got a nice crf 250x that you could pick up for a pretty penny!I really enjoy rock climbing, although ive been pretty slack over the last few months and havn’t been on the wall much! Its relatively cheap, great people involved, and an incredible work out!
I grew near the Victorin high country so i am also right into my skiing and snowboarding, but its way too bloody expensive these days so i really only get on the slopes a couple of times a year.plus the one in your hand!!
116 ish!
you crack me up tiny! LMFAO at those 2!
Bollocks!!!
Should be able to manage both!
I’ll bring the carby into work tommorrow Ollie, giv her a srub out, check jets etc. I’ll also pull the spark plug for inspection, maybe check fuel for impurity?
cheers mate. When i took the silencer off, there looked to be a bit of soot in the header, so prob as running rich.
For Sale…… One WR 450!!!!!
Well, after a rather interesting few K’s watching Kempy (Wingnut KLX) repeatedly throw his bike down some flat trails, i got to have a play on the new 07 Gas Gas 300. I emedietly felt at home, the cockpit comfortable, ergos slim, seat flat and hard. The torqy power of the 300 brought a big grin to my face! Brought back memories of my 98 Yam WR250 2t. The marzochi fork and sachs shock felt just right for me, you know when you jump on a bike and it just feels right?
We rode the section with the woops in it at near the camp site, i was having a ball flicking it neatly through the trees and berms, and skippded across the woops with little effort. We switched bikes to come back through, and although my bike wasn’s on song, it still felt a complete opposite to ride. Felt top heavy, power not as thrilling (maybe jet issue?) and basically felt like jumping on 91 XR 250 (yes TB i did own one!!)
All in all, a bloody great trailbike, light, powerful, nimble, and just very enjoyable to ride. It certainly has me thinking of getting back onto the ringa ding dingers!!! Perhaps the new Husky WR300?!!Cheers, Gili.
I wont mind doing a bit of sweeping on either day TB.
I’ll chat with Ollie in the morn, but will let you know. Just ripped the carby out of the wr for a spuce up. Hope a clean will fix the spluttering problem i had on Sun.
ive got two! still got the 04 crf 250x and also have 00 cbr 600 f!
what if i run spoky dokes, and peg a card on the frame to run on the spokes?!!!
