very difficult to compete with cheap labour, the only concerns for the ceo’s of the whole production process including importing and exporting is profit, in the last 5 years ive noticed huge changes and poor quality with just everything, unless its built from the ground by local business who care about quality you usually get raped.

gday, mate i had spinal surgery about 5 yrs ago i had major issues with the L4 and L5, had alot of spinal needles epidurals, my surgeon dr seex british dr, very conservative pretty world renowned surgeon tried all options first to eleviate the pain, he did speak to me regarding synthetic disc replacement, which is a procedure through the stomach, however he was reluctant due to the damage i had, he intially tried a wallis implant however 2 days after surgery pain was still there and the leg pain was significantly worse, intial operation was a disectomy where they cut away the damage disk to free the spinal nerves, however 3 operations later it was fusion, this dr tried all smaller options first rather than major surgery very conservative bloke, any way after the fusion 100% change no more pain, as long as u continue to strengthen your core muscles using a swiss ball, mate never been better, thats not to say there are ocassions when my lower back might not be sore, but never to what it was, as long as u maintain strength exercises, i actually have more movement now than i did before the surgery. hope that helps
