Yeah, pretty sure Ballards & other retailers have the 661 suit for $200,,,

I myself have the 4BP suit from Moot Designs , it was me the reviewed it last week:) I find it excellent value for the $$$$$ (I am big on silicone spray on all zippers very frequently) and really never had a prob with a zip yet!!!!

Does that mean you won’t be stinking my spare set out on the caves to caves eagle. I can still smell it now and it’s packed away in the cupboard.

my kato manual states that you should only use DOT5.1 fluid, or DOT4 if necessary.

dot5.1 has a wet boil point of 180 degrees C, and dot4 is 25 degrees C lower but will mix with 5.1.

never use DOT5 as it is a silicone based fluid and id dyed purple.

KTM gaskets and brake lines are not designed for dot5 and it should never be used!

    hope this helps fellas

    OMG!

I have just read this post back three times and it is informative, devoid of any sarcasm and makes perfect sense.

    Are you OK Menace? B)

You just had to do it didn’t you STM, I was hoping for our first ever thread that stayed on TOPIC…

Hey Ecks, welcome back hope all is O.K, I have a 48t rear sitting here wondering wether I should try it or not, I don’t like you want to lose that low end punch. I think it probably would be O.K as these things have plenty to spare anyway. I’m Currently running 14/52 (stock rear I think is 52) Might get a 50 to try for an inbetween.

I have heard that Michelin M12’s S12’s etc are being released with a new longer wearing rubber compound or something like that, If you are getting one see if you can get new stock as all new stock should be the new compound.

    Cheers
