After more testing, if you start a new post you can untick the subscribe box at the bottom of your screen. But when you reply that option is not available, am looking into it and various other ways of making it more “USER FRIENDLY”

I don’t know if I’m getting the emails or not, they were so annoying that I get them sent to a mail account that I don’t use :P

Maybe Chris was playing with trying to make th mails optional, I know a coupld of other people didn’t want to recieve them….

As Mick has said, Chris is the only one clever enough to sort it out :)

    Thanks Moto,

By Default when you enter a post you are automatically subscribed to the thread, you can delete the subscription by going to your profile and ticking the box and then pressing delete, this will only delete the update notification to that thread, not the thread itself. I believe there is an option that I can change to allow this to not happen, but then you would need to manually subscribe to each thread that you wanted updates on.

JRD I have reset your post count, did you notice, also I would like to reset your join date too, so you don’t look like a newb. Any ideas when that would have been around abouts.

Here we go again, don’t you blokes ever get sick of slinging crap at each other? I reckon I have a great sense of humour, but, it gets a little tiresome! What must new visitors think? I hate this “face” of our site! As well as nangers tearing it up on unregoed bikes going nowhere.
I like the interesting stuff – the rides and stories, the mods/ improvements blokes try, the photos, the mistakes etc.
But then again, it’s not all about me is it. Sorry, had to vent….thanks, I feel better now!
So, feel free to slinging it my way!

Yeah definately was not happy with how the ready filter looked, I have since double checked and it was definately the correct one according to readyfilter, part# etc, I have since purchased a twin air and will rotate between stock and the twin air while also using the skins, I purchased 1litre of Silkolene Foam filter oil, this stuff pours like water but goes tacky quickly, very easy to oil filters compared to the sticky gluggy castrol stuff I used before. Also use the spray silkolene to spray the skin.

I got told it was either the Kill Switch (which you have already tried) or a faulty front brake light switch. Luckily my issue was the kill switch and easy enough to fix with some leccy tape.

I’d imagine it would only be 10-15% cheaper. Working of general wholesale margins.

For the $23.00 odd bucks it costs to change oil I’ll continue doing mine every 300kms (still every 3 rides at 80-100 a go) but if I can get it cheaper then it may only be 20.00 per change.

Really now that I look at it there probably isn’t that much savings to be had by buying in bulk especially when you also consider storage, how long it will sit around for etc etc. Maybe a 10 Litre will do

And ECKS you still have to much time!
