Oh it will Bite.
Yeah I think I’ll get a 48 for the longer rides and the 52 for the single track stuff, I still can’t work out how those guys are saying their getting 135kph out of the 250 with stock gearing.
Cheers

I towed it home and arrived after she was in bed asleep.
The next morning, I woke up in a mad panic trying to think of a way to break the news to her.
When she got out of bed I still had no idea what to tell her, so here is how it went.
Mick. “ Ian sold his boat yesterday”
Lessa “He did? How much for?”
Mick “$3500”
Lessa “ Geez that was cheap, you should have bought it!!”
Mick “ I did” With broad grin on my face.
Lessa. “What are you doing buying things without asking blah blah blah you %&*#@”
Mick. Now with smug look gone from my dial “But you just said I should have bought it”
Lessa “ I know I said that, but at that stage I didn’t know you had bought it, you bastard.”Sometimes with women, you will never win.
Still to this day I reckon it was the best $3500 I ever spent!!
That is Gold Mick, Menace It’s all good we’re all pretty thicked skin around here.
Yep should I get a 450 so I can go faster!
Hey Aaro, I know chopper has had some back work done but not sure what maybe he can shed some light on it, was the original injury from the bikes.

Quote:Just spoke to a dude in Newy that runs Newcastle Dirtbike Dismantlers, he says he does forks for $110 labour + OIL cost,,,,
Is that a fair deal ??? I have no idea:unsure:Also gave him some flyers that he`s gonna laminate & stick in window of shop:) Reckons he might copy some off & place em on the counter as well for dudes to pick up;)
I spoke to him & his wife prior to Hill End when I picked up spare chain link etc he was keen to hear how we went, so I dropped by today for a yarn:P
He is impressed with our setup, type of riding & general attitude to all in the sport:woohoo:If you guys are around this way pop in to his shop for a chat,OR a purchase of some parts or gear. He`s a nice bloke (like us):cheer:

I could chug up the rocky hills with ease, was cumfy cruising through the farm country and on the open dirt roads the speedo spent a bit of time above 140  lucky no cops around hey ,
. Even loved the single track at the end, still felt like I could keep going no probs.
I was completely knackerd by that stage just kept thinking don’t crash and do a moto so took it very very easily, I think even if I could do 140kms it would scare the crap out of me, Maybe playing around with the rear sprocket for the next long ride might help. Or maybe just get a 450 as well or a 2nd hand DRZ for the longer rides, like that’ll happen.
Cheers
