Good on ya Tiny.. How come it took soooo long..
Look again??
Hmmmm Intersting!!
Heres the “official” derestriction guide for the KLX, thanks to FatHead.
Chris.
Hey Eagle, Good work so far. Can I suggest….
Dynojet Jetting Kit, with aftermarket pipe should be next on the list.
Then..
Polisport light, you will save about 4 kgs removing the stock one and the Bracket assembly.
Removing the rear rack will save you another couple, fit some small blinkers using the holes
in the guard that will be available after removing the rack. Then braided front brake cable will remove the mushiness on the front brake..
300kit..
Cheers
Chris.Forgot to mention, bought from ontwowheels (www.ontwowheels.com.au) at penrith, If you need anything yamaha go and see Shane, tell him your from Old Bulls and he’ll look after you.
Chris.
Just out of curiousity I tried to find the 2 good ones haven’t found them yet.
Chris.
Na MOTO, not enougth I say, do you have a job??? just kidding, It’s guys like you that make sites like this work, I’m a bit worried about you and the squirrel however, I got a special deal on some duct tape if you need some.. Know what I mean?
Cheers
Chris.Yep welcome, I won’t hold that against you, having a Honda that is.. Catch you on the trails.
Cheers
Chris.Hey Eagle welcome from another KLX owner, you can see some pics and my mods in the Kawasaki section. You can definately shed some weight by getting rid of that rack, man that must way 5-7 kgs on it’s own..
Cheers
Chris.Yep top effort TB and all those that have contributed, special mention to Mick (prestigious North Coast Moderator), MOTO, Ollie, Tiny for your contributions. I never realised how much maintenance a site like this required and now know how it can quickly become a full time job, usually I do a site, hand it over and thats where it ends. There’s lots that goes on in the background that you guys don’t see, a tweek here and there, server backups, database maintenance etc.. It’s been great watching this site grow and I’m sure it will grow enormously GOD help me. Running a full time business and a family is straining at the best of times but hopefully it will ease off a bit and I’ll be able to dedicate a bit more time to the site and contribute a bit more, there is after all only 24hours a day and working 16 hours of those + trying to fit in your passions is difficult. I need to make time to expose the squirrel although I have my suspicions I can’t prove anything yet, however MOTO may be able to as he seems to be getting quite close to the squirrel, I even heard the squirrel was hoping to move in with MOTO when he finds a new pad.. Anyway thanks again to those that have contributed and we have had lots of good feedback so keep it coming and tell everyone you meet out on the trails to join the OLD Bulls.
Cheers
Chris.
Couldn’t resist 299 posts had to get to 300, Mick are you by any chance selling a set of pw50 bars theirs a set on ebay at hastings.. Isn’t that where you are. Just bought a pw50 and 80 sticker kit for the PW’s.
Chris.
Shane, so at 7*5 you can’t fit your bike in straight, how much do you miss out by.
Chris.
That’s 3 mini’s and a KLX.
Definately that time, I’m tossing up between a 3 bike trailer or an 8*5 box, If I get the 8*5 box I can use it for other things and get it modified a bit for the bikes. (saves having 2 trailers) Looks like I’ll need to carry 4 bikes soon so gotta work that one out..
Cheers
