I have one on the KTM, haven’t had any dramas, it seems to seal very well, I took the seat off the first time so I could see the sealing and it was all good.

    Cheers

This is what I am hoping to achieve,

Perform full backup (it is currently taking 2.5 hours) Update Joomla from 1.5.26 to 2.5 it is not a simple upgrade but a migration, Install and test new template, recover data bases and structures, have a rum, and another, test to make sure all o.k, ask TB if it is all o.k, ring delta, ring chris brown and finallly shoot nail gun through my finger.

Yes rocket but will be better, it really depends on how many rums tb brings, if it is that rum and lime crap then it will all go to shit however if it is rum and coke then it will end up awesome.
I think a saturday night would be best as I won’t need to work next day

One of the best things about travelling IMO are the people you meet along the way.

AND the night we spent in Seisia we met a fantastic young bloke who is truely an inspiration to me.

Basically his story goes something like this. He’s an early 20’s jack the lad type character with his life all in front of him. Then one night driving home with his brother their car spears off the road and hits a tree. William breaks shit loads of bones and ends up in a coma on life support. At times they don’t expect him to make it. 17 days later he wakes up. He has a brain injury and can’t walk, talk, feed himself nothing. He’s like a new born baby again.

Fast forward two years and the gutsy bugger has grabbed life by the short and curlies taught himself not only to walk, talk and function again but decided to ride a push bike from Mareebe ( west of Cairns) to the Tip of Cape York.

33 stacks later we met him at Seisia just after he finished his ride and had a night out at the Fishing Club. Yes there are still signs of his injuries. He has some trouble with his speech and his motor skills aren’t perfect but his mind is as sharp as a tack. His outlook on life is just fantastic and he had me pissing myself laughing till well into the night.

For me Seisia was one best nights out on the trip. The Fishing Club had the music pumping, great grilled fish burgers, cold beer, top beach front location and plenty of laughs with four of us and William Bruce Stacey.

Nice it’s amazing to hear these stories makes you think how lucky we all are.

I for one wouldn’t let e10 anywhere near any of my bikes it’s premium or nothing, for that matter I don’t put it in any of the cars either.. There’s still a fair bit of debate re long term effects on engines with e10 and for some reason I like the Caltex Vortex stuff..

    Quote from an NRMA Blog.

most small engines such as chainsaws and whipper-snippers and most Japanese motorcycles are recommended NOT to use ethanol. These vehicles and power tools will have to use premium petrol when ULP becomes unavailable.

    Cheers

+ 1 Scotty these aholes need a size10 up the back side . This sort of thing is unforgiveable . That is a very special place , maybe as punishment they should be tied to the tree till the tree recovers or rots away whichever come first .
I’m not a tree hugger but I do love the bush

+2 wankers what was the point of doing that. It would have been great to see scotty go all copper on them and whoop some ass :-)

What an awesome ride and report, some of those photos are amazing I could however have gone without seeing the ones of you guys dressed in dresses, boony will no doubt have those printed and up and on the wall in no time flat. Love the red dust, when’s the next one I’ll have to start saving brownie points.
