Yep I am already here…. :woohoo:

Is there still white stuff there Mal?

No it was a balmy 15 degrees today.

We are getting some serious frosts in the mornings. I’ll take some pics in the morning if wanders in through the night.

Packed the swag today with my -5 degree sleeping bag  so should be ok ;) I’ll also pack every bit of warm clothing I own

    Can’t wait :woohoo:

    Adam.

Don’t pack too much Adam I have heard that there will be an excess baggage fee or you will have to leave it behind, TB (The Hostess) will be keeping a close eye on the baggage situation. :P :P :P

Yeah good one Nick, I bought the KTM sleeping bag and roll up mattress from Suttos when they were on special, both have been excellent sleeping bag is rated to -4 so o.k in the cold of winter, the mattress rolls up to about 9inches * 6 inches it’s fairly narrow but O.K for 1 night, of course there is then my trusty swag and 4 dome tent, depends on what I’m doing as to which one I use.

    Cheers

Listening to starship “we built this city” which was actually voted worst song of the eighties always reminds me of getting busted off my old man for putting my yz80 on the pool table and stripping it down, gee who thought grease and oil would leave stains!!

Oh and video killed the radio star always reminds me of the bateau bay beach for some reason.

Yep the clear thick stuff is the go on the plastics, although I found some better stuff not as thick but lasts just as good, engine cover and clutch cover protection where all the boot rub marks happen, frame guards, rim stickers stop from scratching when changing tyres, lots of stickers stops scratches, just sticker her up all over.

    Or just don’t ride it.

Forget gumption or anything else to clean the crud out of your plastics, CHUX MAGIC ERASERS are the best ever, try them they work a treat and better than anything else I have used.

Always carrying a spare tube, tyre levers and a spanner that will get your wheel off is a good idea too, that way your ride doesn’t get held up for an hour trying to find a spanner.
