MARTY 450 wrote:Looks great Chris, and in regards to colours,i reckon a white flag with red writing would look good.TB and Chris can discuss if it is to go ahead.
Yep Marty a triangular flag with a bit of dowel at the end that way can be taped to a tent bike or whatever.. Matt is doing a sample for me to take some pics.
Cheers

Chris.Well I was considering ADVing but after the weekend ride I am definately going to stick to the single/twin stuff for a bit longer yet, had the best ride i’ve had in like 7 months
I reckon 45-50 will be the start of ADVing 😆
Ha Ha yep it’s hard to see out the back sometimes so I just gotta push in, only use it for riding or when I have stacks of computers to carry
Cheers

razzle wrote:Been to the Orthopaedic specialist …. I don’t need surgery!Just “more time” and “try not to use it at all, keep it completely immobile”
He said it is a really bad break, in a bad position, but it should heal fine. Including the separated AC and tendon damage. He said that my ribs still look if they have a couple of weeks to be properly healed as well, even though they don’t hurt at all any more. Gotta go back at the end of June for another x-ray and consult.
Hopefully looking good for Mt Seaview :woohoo: :woohoo:
Phew! Still 8 more weeks or so, but at least I don’t need to be chopped open :S
Kind of good news razzle remember it could have always been worse 8 weeks will fly past..
Cheers

here you go, anyone want one, also asked him about the flags, no problems, he also can do any other vinyls, signwriting you may want, if you want something to get a quote you can email him at reynoldssigns@swiftdsl.com.au and make sure you tell him your from old bulls.
Cheers
Chris.Good Idea, I can get my signwriter mate to do them, I was also going to get some stickers/vinyls made up as I have on my van, this could also be a way of subsidising the hosting costs, I reckon the stickers would be about $10.00 each, I’ll take a photo and post it up.
Cheers
Chris.was an awesome day did about 120Kms, what started as a grade 3 quickly turned into a 4 with a touch of 4.5 thrown in (Thanks Mick) we ended up doing the Jurrasic Track and ended up at Cullen Bullen Pub for Lunch, the 120km consisted of about 80kms single and 40 trail/twin track, apart from being a bit nervy at first once we got going this quickly disappeared into sheer awesomeness, Lots of nice tight single track, suprisingly I was a lot fitter than I thought. Lot’s of rocks and steep step ups to get the skills back in check, no-off, I had 1 or 2 slow speed drops but nothing serious, Only took a few photos, now action shots though, I didn’t have my regular helmet so couldn’t mount the Helmet Cam, would have been good though. Definately has renewed my enthusiam and will be back out in a fortnight, maybe we are going to do Rydal next time, we ended up being a bit later than expected we finished up at 3.00pm, which was fine we were all keen to keep riding. All in all a monkey off my back and can’t wait till next time. Cheers Chris.
