Just say what if they are professional people mid to late 40’s have worked 16 hours a day for the past 20 years saved their pennies paid exorbitant amounts of taxes, and finally have enough to buy their dream car, I don’t begrudge anybody anything as long as the have put in the hard yards they deserve it. I still can’t afford a WR450 so I’m a long way off.

I went to by some yummy Chicken Kebabs from Aldi this afternoon and walked out $500 poorer

Started with : the food aisle $100 ish dollars

Then came across the weekly special deals that normally come out on a thursday Morning :( 6.5HP/2200Watt generator $300, 100 amp stick welder $100, ratchet tool set $20,digital vernier $20, Tape measure $4, and a couple of other things.

and I forgot the Kebabs

Are they still on, had a look at the Aldi website but can’t see them I’d like some digital verniers!! $20.00 probably only use them once or twice a year.

    Cheers

AFter leaving the Murphsberg ride on Sunday just gone I was travelling out through Kulnura when I saw my all time favourite car past…a Porsche 911 GT2. It was all black with the number plate ‘3’ on it and it looked rude as hell. These are very rare cars here in Oz so I was surprised to see one on the road.

About 3 minutes later a flurry of top end cars drove past in a convoy, 1 of which I have never seen on the road (anywhere). There was:

    Porsche 911 GT3 RS
    Ferrari 360 Modena
    Ferrari 430 Scuderia
    Lamborghini Murcialago
    Audi R8
    2 Nissan Skyline R35GTR’s
    Dodge Viper
Ford GT40 (the new one – this is the one I’ve never seen on the road)
BMW M3 and a 335 coupe (both of which looked decidely run of the mill in the company they were keeping).
    BMW M6

and probably a couple more that I have forgotten. So the question is, is anyone aware of any sort of show or meet for these things last weekend as it was clear that something has been organised?

I thought that was you Moto, you should have flagged me down might have even let you have a drive!

On a serious note, if we’ve moved away from Joomla, should I have a new log in for the ‘back pages’ or do we (admin) still use the Joomla one?

I’ve heard your back pages are often open to anyone.

    I’m going to work now.
