Wr 250 if your under about 90kgs (just firm up the suspenders) over 90kgs WR450 Keep it stock to start with then de-restrict it when you get use to it That’s my plan for the 450 one day.

    Cheers

    Day 2.
I awoke to eagle telling me I was the last one up, however unit, mickg and vman were still asleep or partaking in other activities God knows what went on in that cabin.. No breakfast Sunday morning I was still full from the feed the night before. A nice cup of coffee got the day going, Unit came and helped himself to Novices Supplies (your welcome unit).. BTW thanks novice for the supplies you can come back anytime!!!..
Day 2 saw Bollocks take the lead for the day and showing us around some local sites.. We started out some nice twin trail down to a gold mine. The play was back on straight away and Dan was still roosting everyone, I heard he even roosted KylieD and she was not very impressed. From the Gold mine we headed up to Sheba dam for morning tea, I think we also visited hanging rock lookout before this but my memory can’t place the exact order we did it… MickG rode out on the pontoon at the dam to take a photo of the WR, god it would have been funny if he fell in but it wasn’t to be.
Bollocks pulled out several thermus’s of boiling water, tea coffee, a lamington and couple of anzac biccies for us all, I’m still trying to work where he carried it all.. I think someone secretly dropped it off at the Dam.. Good work Bollocks.

We then headed to a property of a lady that Bollocks knows, what a great property. Riding through the paddocks whilst keeping an eye out for the big wombat holes. A couple of us headed off the beaten track for a bit of a go at some nice off-camber slippery loamy hills that was fun… We headed back down and contined along some what looked like rarely used trails.. We came to a point where we couldn’t get through at this stage I caught a glimpse of bollocks on the ground and the DRZ lying next to him.. A bit of a turnaround and some exploration saw us find another way around that included a knarly little creek crossing, Moose, Myself, Boony and Vman made it accross and we proceeded to wait at the top of a mother of a hill lots of hidden boulders in the grass it was pretty hard work dodging all the hidden obstacles, once near the top it turned to a nice grassy field and the front wheel hardly touched the ground, so much fun I had to do it twice.. We waited there for a fair while with no sign of the rest of the group it was decided to head to the trout farm to wait for them.. Of-course we had to wait for Vman to take even more pics of the Husky, I think it’s going in next months Miss Husky magazine.. We made the trout farm and had a great tour with Russell who told us all we need to know about trout farming, it was very educational and a bit different..
Sometime before this I heard Boony and KylieD had a bit of an altercation where kylie lied the bike down to give boony a bit of traction or somethin..
After the trout farm we headed back to the park for a bit of a chat, pack the bikes and gear up and head off home.. Looking forward to a long drive NOT.. Eagle and I stopped for some nourishment and KFC in Musswellbrook (I Think) before heading back to eagles. I met the lovely Mrs Eagle and the little Eagles, thanks for the coffee!!.. Headed back from Newcastle a little bit of traffic but not to bad..
Highlights of Day2 that I remember
    Morning Tea provided by Bollocks
    The trout farm tour
    the hill on Jenny’s Property
Jenny’s Property (what I would give for a property like that)
    DanD still roosting everyone
The riding and competiveness of some of the boys.
Unit looking for Gold and the Gold Mine
V-Man, putting his bike in certain poses and positions to get photos of it, It was like a model shoot or somethin’ Bloody hell how many photos do you need boy..
The drive home chatting with Eagle.

O.K Special Thanks need to go to:
Everyone for coming it wouldn’t have been so much fun without the people
The Pub for the great food and the Stubby Holders.
Boony what more do I need to say well DONE!!
Bollocks for the Sunday ride, the Stubbie holders, Morning tea at the Dam, The trout farm and showing us the local sights, also for organising with Jenny for use of her Property.
The caravan park for the great amenities and letting us stay as long as we needed on the Sunday.
    Steve for fitting my tyre.
Can’t wait for the next OBT Event, photos and video to come.

    Cheers
    Chris.

What a great weekend, Boony you outdid yourself, I hope all the stress was worth it, you certainly pulled it off, Bollocks same to you for the great ride and touristy trip on sunday and Morning Tea (don’t burn the scones next time!!)..
    Day 1
A long trip started friday afternoon about 1.30 leaving home at blaxland and heading up to newcastle to pick up Eagle. Arrived at eagles at about 4.00pm (lots of traffic) we quickly switched drivers and eagle took control of the vehicle to Nundle.. Eagle thought he should ring Boony on the way but I had another plan. A phone call from me being Charles from the RFS telling boony that we’d seen his ride on a website and that he would have to cancel as all the forests were closed for backburning. Cheeky bugger even offered to help if we could give him some drip torches.. I think we had him going for a good while and we were satisfied when he agreed to send everyone home. I thought eagle was going to wet himself next to me, I finally let Boony in on the joke and there were many expletives. Boony then proceeded to call every half hour or so to check where we were, It was decided they would wait for us until they went to the pub for dinner, a slight detour due to GPS sending us the wrong way put us back a bit but I think we got there about 7.50 and headed straight for the pub. Introductions were done etc etc.. MickG, Unit and Vman showed up a bit later. The boonstar was well and truly hammered when we got there but kept going to not let anyone down. Most of the talk of the evening revolved around Menace. Boony is in love with menace although he has never met him.. Yes he even admitted it. Lots of beer flowed on the friday night with just about all the gang there. A great feed at the pub, we retired to the firepit where moose and I plucked a few tunes on Mooses guitar. Several more drinks and a rumski saw me heading off to bed.

Awoke saturday morning to eagle telling me the bacon and eggs were ready how good was this, a bacon and egg roll for breaky and then off to gear up for the day ahead.. Novice had a bit of an issue getting his bike starting but in came the D’s with their words of wisdom and Dan furiously kicking the snot out of the WR fag in mouth and all, Novice finally got it started and all was good. In the mean time I had poor old Steve fitting a new back tyre on the WR, and boy am I glad I did. Steve is at Tamworth Cycle Tune 02-6762 5578 so all you locals go and see Steve for parts and accessories and servicing, mecahnical repairs etc.

We headed up some crappy tar stuff about 8-9 k’s before we headed into the bush some nice flowing twin trail and firetrail warmed us up before heading into some slippery muddy wet singles in the pine forests. This where our leader for the Day Boony had a nice little off all caught on no less that 2 helmet cams, poor bugger (NOT). The day was full of great tracks it had everything, singles, twin, firetrail, snotty hills. Parachute hill was fun the biggest longest downhill I’ve ever seen, A couple of people decided it was way too hot and thought theyd have a swim, the puddles and creek crossings were entertaining, we had bollocks going for a swim early on and then KylieD decided it was her turn. Good old super sherpa was there in a flash to pick princess up.. I didn’t mean to laugh but it was pretty funny..
We kept going on some real slippery clay trails I was having way too much fun side to side and all over the place, I think it was billy who had a pretty decent off on one of these sections.. Always bringing up the rear was Demis our sweep for the weekend who did a great job but I don’t think we kept him busy enough, no flats, no breakdowns.. Thanks Demis, Boulder would be proud of ya.
Some more nice flowing fast twin trail heading into lunch, the boys were getting a bit fiesty at this stage and the play started how much fun was that, I did my best to stay away from Dan cause I got sick of copping roost from the big 450. There was some great high speed riding and play going on, I only wish MickG would learn to ride a bit quicker and make it a bit more challenging insert cheeky laugh here. Unit kept whingeing about the big DR on the slippery stuff and how it was too heavy blah blah.. Yeah sure.
We arrived at the berry patch spot on 1.00pm and could smell the barbie cooking straight away, what a feed, gourmet sausages, chicken bits, salad drinks and an amazing berry and icecream desert, had trouble getting my gear back on after that feed. After a bit of a rest and a feed we found some jerry cans with some fuel in them so we fueled up, geared up and headed off. We stopped for a bit of a breather after some more great tracks and were amazed that there was still ice in the puddles, you could here it crackling when you rode up, unit being unit decided to have a lick on the ice..
Boony warned us about a big hill coming up couldn’t wait for it we stopped at the bottom for a bit of a break and chatted etc.. Off we went up the hill got to what I thought was the top and said to DanD is that it.. I think so he said.. Well up a bit further it started again and just kept going and going and going great hill that but I would have liked to have ridden up parachute hill. All made it to the top and we headed off for more great tracks. We decided to head back to the caravan park don’t know what time it was, i was completely knackered though, more of that crappy black top stuff (what’s with that Boony). Then back to the park for showers and beers. We headed to the pub for more beers and a feed. The pub put a couple of nice Reserved for OBT signs on 2 of the big tables. We had another great feed and lots of banter. We had a visit from Boonys mrs and the kids. Eagle and I picked up a couple of takeaway rumskis but I was that buggered I headed straight to bed without drinking it…
Highlights that I remember from Day 1
KylieD’s Swim in the creek crossing
Bollocks swim and completely submerging the DRZ, wait till you see the footage.
Parachute Hill what a great hill
The slippery sloppy singles through the pine forests.
    Ice in the Puddles
Lunch – That was the best.
The big uphill that just kept going and going and going.
Boony whingeing about his swollen epiglotis, lucky Menace wasn’t there or something else may have been swollen.

    no worries racy

we found out from the invoice that our neighbor only added $13 onto the wholesale price. then he spent hours in the shop last night downloading, backing up and setting the computer up for us. what kind of neighbors would we be if we let him do that for us. so insisted that we paid more. he has to run a business to feed his family you know.

so we should see a lot more from racytracy on obt now

You won;t have any dramas with the Toshiba they are a solid unit, you should however take your neighbour a bottle of his favorite drink I’m sure he will appreciate it, I get lots of alcohol this way :P :P :P

I have all your data MOTO off your squished laptop I can burn it to DVD if you want and give it to you.
