Noooooooooooooooooooo! everything seems to be fine now. I will merge the databases over the weekend.
The only major ISP whose dns servers haven’t updated yet seems to be people telecom, (who i am with) I am logged in to one of my clients servers who are on bigpond so if your on bigpond you should be O.K.
Optus seems to be O.K to,
TPG – O.K
iprimus – O.KYep if you are seeing this, you are on the real site their is somewhat of a ghost site floating around in cyberspace due to system maintenance at the data centre (that I was not informed about BTW), once all the DNS servers have updated all will be fine and I will merge the 2 databases together so we don’t lose anything, it’s pretty funny actually TB and XY-Transit are on the ghost site probably wondering where everyone is.
Cheers

Boony he does have a point here.
Anymore interest here, we still need a few more to get the best price, P.S. the price I indicated initially was an estimate from Suttos, once we get numbers they will actually be cheaper but need to firm up the numnbers.
Cheers
Chris.I’ll be there pending official approval.

Welcome Muzza, plenty of dribbling going on here. See ya at Nundle.

But then again, as others have said the revenue raised out of the mechanics time isn’t just paying his salary and the rest is profit.Rent for somewhere like Newcastle KTM is probably around $4K a month, plus insurances, public liablity, heating, power, salaries for the other guys that are ‘overheads’.
Considering they actually make very little on the sale of a new bike they have to makes their money somewhere. Most of this comes from parts and servicing. Some bike shop owners do quite well out of it, but that’s why you run your own business. I wouldn’t run a bike shop for $30K a year so all of you bludgers can have cheap servicing for your hobby.
I don’t like paying the money just like the next guy but I understand why it is like it is.
Glad you said that MOTO, I was getting all fired up, don’t forget, super, workers comp, insurance, sick and annual leave benefits, tea, coffee, electricity, water, staff amenities, tax, GST, accountancy fees, I could go on and on, when you have your own business their is a hell of a lot of expenses just to keep the doors open and that’s before you pay staff or get your get your new boat/car/bike, why do people think that because you have your own business you must be rich, I know I could certainly go and get a full time job and make more money but that’s not why I chose to have my own business.

a)for a laugh
b)cause all yamaha 450s need to be kick started on a cold morning as the battery is to small
c)on a 40 degree + day when the bike stalls on a hard hill and he forgets about the hot start button and has to kick it like a bastard to get it stated.Dan – get yourself sorted with the bike and come riding with me and murph next weekend. he says we’re not going to the place you guys went last weekend.
I know it’s a small step backward going back to a carby bike but that’s the price you pay. I actually started today and had to be reminded to turn the fuel on and pull the choke out:huh: The WRR made me lazy of all that stuff.
Whats the go with the hot start lever? Is it like a decommpression thing or something. I have a lot to learn with this one.
I am suprised how light it is though and if I ride as bad as what I did last weekend when I do get out I need the lightest bike possible:blush:
Hot start levers suppose to be for starting when the bike is hot, ie stuck on the side of a big hill or similiar, I have never had to use mine, it acts as a quick choke.. Can I book a test ride when we next ride together, I had the opportunity to upgrade to a 450 a little while back that wouldn’t have cost me much cash but decided to stay with the 250

I’ve been a bit busy the last few days, ask any questions here and I will respond as soon as I can
I never thought I’d hear that from you MOTO. I imagine it would be pretty expensive shipping tyres so pickup might be the go.
Cheers
