Make the great lord strike down upon me and rid me from this planet…..
Talk about pissing in the mans pocket.
Been quite a thread i started here with the different convos going on and how we can all talk shit.
But not one of you seemed keen if i organised a Taylors Arm ride out of the pub with no beer. Just trying to see if any one was keen before i made contact with the guy that i want to lead the ride. 16th/17th january

Quote:Yeah thats a fair call Corey. I wasn’t trying to put the cat amongst the pigeons with my comments it is just how I have found it.Both the KLX450 and the DRZ400 are great bikes for trail riding and to be fair both of those bikes would suit the majority of Old Bulls.
I am not in anyway talking my shit up with my riding ability and needing to have a more race orientated bike as I would say that I am just an average rider.
I just like Yammies and have never had anything but or would have anything but, so my choice when going up from a 250 to 450 was pretty limited. In saying that I love my WR and wouldn’t trade it for any other bike, except for a newer WR450. Or maybe a Burg at least there still blue
Hey Dan horses for courses really. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the 450 range just pick a colour these days i think.
I knew i could stir people up with a few comments
But your dead right Dan with the KLX’s tractor (go any where) feel thats why i bought it. I had a Banana 400 before this and thats what i liked about it so i didn’t want something that had snappy power just some thing that was a easy bike and is quite forgiving to ride

I reckon since Eagle rode both of the D Yammie’s he has been lusting to go blue.
Hey Eagle I just so happen to know of a WR250R for sale if your interested. It’s not Kylies either.
Oh wait it’s a blue one not white.
I’m not anti yammie just don’t like them LOL
I think they make there WRF range to close to there YZ range and there not a great bike for a weekend knock around.

Quote:Would love a green 450, but the WR is a sweet ride too, I have ridden KylieD`s at Louee & it would probably suit my riding beter, travelling to work etc
I also rode SuperUnits KLX at Louee, along with Dans WR450, then GavB`s Kato450 in the Wattos :laugh:Best test riding you can do, borrowing friends rides without the dealer pressure
I would have to have a white one though, I don`t like BLUE
If you going to that “Chichester Forest tour Sat 20th of Feb 2010” ride you can play with mine there to if you like. Any thing to keep you off a Yamaha

Why would you be considering the WR250 over a GREEN450?
