I’m in Cootamundra, about 2 hours south.
looking for new areas , usually do Snowy’s and VIC High countryriding HUSKY 510 ,
found this link for maps, would be worth the $25
http://www.gamecouncil.nsw.gov.au/portal.asp?p=Mapping-Intro#ForestryI haven’t ridden for a couple of months, just to busy.

relay was the hot start problem, all good now
valves spot on after 7000k’s unbeilevable! 😆the Power Com 5 and Auto Tune are working treat,
nice smooth bike, no flame outs, nice fat mid rangeNovember 26, 2011 at 10:35 pm in reply to: runs like train, turn it off and it will not fire again Husky 510 hot start, not #212197Update:
had a good ride today , but , still very difficult to hot start:pulled her apart tonight,
the start circuit relay has a wear mark from rubbing on frame / tank, and a little hole in case, this seems to be letting water and dust in,
replaced it and it now primes much better.
some thing for others to check !
i’ve got to do the valves as well, reckon that will bring some better starting
keep updating as I go.November 24, 2011 at 4:34 pm in reply to: runs like train, turn it off and it will not fire again Husky 510 hot start, not #212195Had a yarn to R and D, they think it may be a decomp issue, bit of wear in the mechanism.
bike has done 7000k’s (all bush bashing)

temp sensor looks like a definate culprit.November 24, 2011 at 12:03 am in reply to: runs like train, turn it off and it will not fire again Husky 510 hot start, not #212192thanks guys, the issue isn’t topdead centre problem, or decomp.
the engine turns over quickly and strongly,
just refuses to fire. when hot,was wondering if relays may loose their switching properties if old and heat effected,
6500 k’s on my 2008 model,
gotta keep the battery fresh, a charger is a good investment,
still running the original fuel pump,
replaced the fuel pump relay with aftermarket job from auto lecky mate, fork seals leak if you pull the front down when trailering, i use the wheel brace type. bleed air all the time
i’m big so bigger springs
the rear brake line rubs through cases, a bit of conveyor belt fixes problem,
fuse holder shake the crap out of fuses, they crack and cause issues, so carry spares
connector behind headlight needs cleaning regularly , corrotion upsets the ecu,its never let me down on the trail, but it has chucked a wobbly in camp once or twice.
can be a bit stally in tight stuff, the infamous Husq flame out, even the carby model do it, you learn to ride around it,
great brakes, great light clutch
great engine, the fitter you are the better it goes, can be really chucked around.i;m happy with it , but i’m not likely to buy another dirt bike (age shall not weary them, but it makes them ache a lot)

As for stolen cars, well no need to say more. It will also show up if the owner of the car is suspended/disqualified and the like, again who wants these people on the road.pm sent
its even rougher now,
about 1/3 up it gets difficult,
just really hard after that :woohoo:took me 18 goes, and half a day, but i got there, never again,
its pretty hard on gear, especially the falling off bit, bikes tend to slide back down on their own.
got a 5 dayer with Rod Lay, in May
from Yakandandah to the Lakes Entrance Vic (near bairnsdale) and back,
looking for a trip in June , July and AugustI’d love to be part of the mission, if spots still available
suggestion:
drop the Jindabyne – to Groggin bit, and camp and start at Tom Goggin Station, has a bunk house and accomadation for about 20-25, toilets, kitchen, shed and tools , and the manager is a bike wise man.
AND
MtPinnibar is at the back door, great place to start a ride.Ktmrat wrote:

WTF
try reading it again but this time with you eyes open you wally:angry:I quote your leading thread:
I have been building Motors and tuning them for years, and when KTM Bull first started on this cooling system I was in no way going to have anything to do with it as I was sure manufacturers had spent Millions developing and researching cooling systems, after months of Bulls patient explaining to this stubborn one,I am as you were .
