I guess I kinda did the posting version of bringing a knife to a gun fight, aay!
Anyway, you’ve just photoshopped my head onto some poor blokes body!
Chicken was in front of this bloke anyway!
As for Friday night at the pub….at least you’ll then have a good excuse for folding under pressure from Mal!

Yeah TB, my ‘sorry arse’ will be there!

Welcome Filthy,
I know people are thinking it….so I gotta ask….Why Filthyphil?
Is it cause you never wash your bike?
never wash yourself?
Or an old name that stuck with you from your pornstar days?

Come on Mal……………..lay off him……he’s sick of hearing that comment!!!! At least it’s not from Sal this time!
I met Rob today down at Battyes as he was dropping of his 650.
A special machine that one….first ever registered in Oz! TB would kill for his number plate!!!
I told him there were plenty of members throughout the mountains and west of, that are always going riding.
Great to see you have jumped on and done an intro.
Hope you stay in contact with the site and we’ll go for a ride soon.

chris.
Chris,
Glen Hoffman (GHR Honda) uses Dirt Tricks spockets on the bikes he builds. I don’t know about other items. I guess he wouldn’t use stuff that he doesn’t have confidence in.
Maybe call/ email him for an opinion (www.dirtbike.com.au)

Great Work Rocket & SB!!!!
Must have been a beaut off Badbowie had for him not to race back on the Sunday! I hope he and his bike are OK!
For those interested:
Jacob Smith won the weekend. Matt Fish was 7 minutes behind in 2nd, with Stu Bennett 3rd back another 4 minutes.
Jake Haddrill had the quickest time over to Condobolin from Tottenham on the Saturday, beating Jacob by 1 minute. However, he DNF’d on the return leg on Sunday. It must have been pretty challenging, I see that almost 30% of the starters DNF’d!!!!!!
Well done All.

Good on ya Guru! What trophies are in your cabinet!!!! (other than the “I can smash Crash when ever I want to trophy”
Leave him alone, he’s done more than any other rider overseas for Aussie bike riding.

All the usuals made it though….must have faster computers out there! Good on ’em.
That’s life.

G’day Mac….it sure has been a long time! No more wheelying down runways with a 1 point landing I hope!
Yeah, I thought I’d put in an entry….I didn’t get in last year though…see how we go this year…a very popular race!Crash
There certainly won’t be any cobwebs appearing between the seat of your WR’s and your arses!
To top it off, while your near the border and close to SA, why don’t you make it a triple treat for the Bowen Brothers in June/July and head for Kapunda to compete in the 78th running of the 24 hour race! The Swann Insurance 24 hour reliability trial
It’s on on the weekend after Hattah! go on, you know you both want to! Your more than half way there!
That would be a monumental effort…..you would automatically receive OB legend status!

Once again, good on you Scott and Stuart, getting out and doing what us nangars only talk about and dream of.
Happy Buffday Guru
Have a great couple of weeks riding and visiting fellow OB’s. Go easy on all of them with that new rear IRC grenade launcher you’ve fitted to the back of the 650!!

42 ay, your catching up!
Like LC said, it looks like TOBY PRICE has brained them in his first attempt at Finke……WELL DONE.
He was only a minute off Bennys quickest time down last year at 1hr 57mins yesterday and played it pretty cool today by coming home the same as the other first 4 or 5 in 2hrs 4minutes.
GREAT EFFORT THE BOWEN BROTHERS
Stuart seems to have held his lead over Scott by only losing 2 minutes to him on the way back to Alice.
So, they have finished a brilliant 223th and 233th place (provisional, not official).
Stuart ended up beating Tuffy by 21 seconds.
Brad from Teknics finished a terrific 308th on the big bad 650.
Wonka DNF’ed on the big 505cc before the first checkpoint this morning.
Honda hope Chad Billet was going really well all the way home but it looks like the CRF has failed between the last checkpoint and Alice.
Jehi Willis DNF’ed too after passing 2 checkpoints on his 450 husky.
Yanky, Steve Hengeveld went really well on his CR250 to finish in 13th.
AJ Roberts finished 17th
So the Top Ten was:
KTM450, KTM505, CRF450, CRF450, CRF450, CRF450, CRF450, CRF450, YZ450 & CR250.Once again, GREAT EFFORT BOWEN BOYS, well done
So now it’s Hattah, the AORC and for a some, maybe the SA 24hr
reliability trialKing Crash
Great News!
Stuart reached Finke 3hrs 27mins after he started! To now be in 265th position for the run home tomorrow.
Won’t the brothers be playing mind games on each other tonight!
“I’m gunna hunt you down Stu, you won’t know when I’m comin’ around ya, you’ll get a sore neck from checking all day long!” says Scott.
“No Chance” replies Stuart. “I’ll be kickin’ up that much dust, the next time you see me I’ll be layin’ back, showered and sucking on a brewski – so dream on!”
Hammer Home Boys – Make sure there’s nothin’ in your tank when you cross the finish line!!!
