Did you say “Medium sized fella” thanks mate- you know I’m married..you sweet talker!
No need for the Gym Chris….it has cruise control, radar and sonar. Well, not really…….but I gotta tell you, going through that tight stuff is like winding up the elastic band on one of those model areoplane propellors…you just know that sooner or later, things are going to open up and then you just let go of the elastic band and hang on for merry hell!!!!!
Repeat after me “Nothing as sweet as……….”

Chris, just between you and me (my two cents worth)…no need for a new blue wagon next year (save yourself 12 grand)…..a light weight 300 in that sort of terrain ridden to its potential is all that is required. I reckon all most riders need is time on the bike. It will improve a riders balance, together with learning to brake later and earlier throttling and better line choice. TB, Champo, Moto, YZ boy & Gary on a big wheeled CRF150 would be quicker than 99% of 450/650 riders!
    Time in the saddle brother!

    What a great day!
How good was it to get twenty-something bikes around the 100km’s + of single line without any losses or any casualties!
We all met up as planned and couldn’t you all just hear TB’s dinger twitching away, like a set of Boysen Reeds in a 2 smoke having its neck rung, with the pressure he was under to deliver a successful first big group ride for Old Bull!
You done good Guru. Top Effort.
The site obviously attracts the right sort of fella. Easy going, considerate, good humoured, loves the bush, willing to help out and work as a team.
A good mix, a few who can REALLY pedal, a few easing back into riding and a few who just plod away like me.
WARNING: remember those of you who can REALLY pedal……….the last fella that went for a ride with us that could kick TB’s arse………..hasn’t been on a ride since!!!!!……..So, the young fella on the YZ (sorry I can’t remember your name)….just let TB think he has you covered next time – but we all know you could smoke his arse if you got serious…(and by the way, how cool is your ol’ man!)
What about Tracy(Tracey) when she lined up that triple log obstacle without any hesitation and cleared it as if it was a single twig! Great stuff. I was also behind Champo when he went over it the first time in the morning, and he just blipped over it like it was nothing as well. (Champo is one of those “who can REALLY pedal” I mentioned before)
Hey Tiny, it’s amazing what a difference tyres with knobs on them & well set up suspension makes!
Hey Chris, it’s amazing what a difference sub 16 psi tyre pressure makes!
Thanks everyone, great to meet you all, top day.
Hope the “big girls” (6fiddys) didn’t hold you up too much.

Gili said have a look at my leg! as he rolled up his riding pant I saw a big pool of blood that looked like he had been shot!! He then pulled out this leach that was easily four times its normal body width and was chockers full of Gili’s blood!

    Good one Ollie!
When I was reading through it, I thought, “Hello, Ollie’s a brave man! – Just because the Squirrel snuck up the leg of Gilis pants to hitch a ride without Gilis permission is no reason to refer to him as a blood sucking leach! A good description really! You know, a spineless, slippery creature whos life depends upon the existence of others! But then again, you wouldn’t put it past the little cat choking fur ball to try and poison our current Old Bull Trophy holder just because he can’t ride as well! The lengths that little bastard will go to to get ahead…….He has no morals!!!!!!

I’m going for a quick squirt early Sunday morning. I’ll be riding down the dirt track opposite the reactor (where the ‘ball chaffers’ park their cars) just after 7am. Only going for an hour or two.

Just to keep the squirrel occupied, I thought I’d re-enter the above thread again.
I’m going for another quick squirt early Sunday morning for an hour or two. So, if you want to come along……

I’m sure that last one is Chicken with an extended rear swingarm off the back of his Big Bad 600!
I think that is why we haven’t heard from him lately! The roped up mountain goats accidentally ‘meat hooked’ his leg instead of his bike on a failed attempt!
