KatYeah Kat, that stage 9 was going along really well for her, her “GOLDEN DAY”.
She started 13th!!
Check point 1, she was 18th quickest – only 1min 52sec behind the leader – Todd Smith 31st, Grabbo 32nd, Faggotter 46th, Cummings 47th and Strange 48th!
Check point 2, Grabbo 22nd quickest – Sanz 23rd!!!
Then she disappeared unfortunately. Must have been the start of her Engine oil problem.
Next day – Stage 10, she actually started 134th – Bugger!
By Check point 1, she’d put in the 104th quickest time
Check point 2, 106th quickest.
Final Overalls not finalised yet.
Cool Chick that one – Wouldn’t want to be in an argument with her! One determined woman.

Kat,
Keep an eye on the Spanish lady, no:36 Laia Sanz. Click on her number or name and read her details……..tough as teak!
It says 2012 was great year for her, she won the World Trials title (12th in a row), won her 1st World Enduro title, but unfortunately had to have x3 operations on her toe (that she almost lost) before she could start training in October for the January Dakar. It also said she finished 39th in last years Dakar.
She’s currently 39th.
How good is that?
CrashWell done TB, Those 2 vids certainly show what the Coffs ride throws at you each year.
Good stuff!November 28, 2012 at 4:31 am in reply to: Ride Report 1/11/2012, with a difference, Please READ!! #232957Hi Chris,
Must have scared the crap out of you, I’m glad you are still here to post this up & it’s a happy ending!
Put it in your memory bank, stay strong & enjoy the modified track your life will now take from this point on.
Unlike some others that were given a warning of shithouse habits and choose to ignore this warning!

Thanks for all your effort…..not that I know much, but since they first became available I got one…it seemed to make sense.
I gotta say, I did have a double take at your point 10.
I can’t believe after what you have deduced, after the hundreds of hours of work you’ve put in……………………..you are only considering wearing one because they are getting cheaper now!
What price do you put on possibly saving your life or being able to maintain the use of your limbs! I know it’s not guaranteed, but even if it’s PowerBall odds………wouldn’t you like to think you’d done everything you could of to help yourself?
(this bit following is not directed at Snowy, but ‘people’ in general)
I wish you could buy a “Benny Hill” style hand that would slap you in the back of your head every time you got lazy or complacent about anything. The ‘she’ll be right’ attitude will come back to bite you eventually, just when you don’t expect it! DON’T BE LAZYFor F*$# sake, buy a few less cartons of piss or a few less packets of ciggies a year and buy one.

Sounded like a top day out!
bastards
Hope the day has been a beauty. If not, you only have to wait 13 days before your guaranteed an absolute cracker on a time!
See ya then
CrashGood stuff Guru. When do you sleep?

I bet you have that music playing when your ‘on the job’ at home?Met Budge for the 1st time this morning. He had his son & some mates with him. We had a good little play amongst the “Sunny Corner Loam” (refer OBT Dictionary “Sunny Corner Loam = Rocks, rocks & more rocks) There is some sections out there that Murphy & co. would love! Some beaut tracks too, with some good testing steps ups, drops etc to keep you on your toes. The time went too quickly as usual, so we called it a morning before the beanie boys hit the dirt.
A new WR450 was having its 1st ride. A very nice machine. It did seem to boil very easily & regularly too. Nothing else was boiling. They look like they have heaps of radiator capacity too though, so I don’t know what that was about? Having to put it back into neutral to start it would get a bit annoying too. I’m sure there’s a mod. for that.
Budges 300 Berg liked a nice weapon too just quietly.
I had a good morning out, the 250 went well.
Looking forward to Coffs!
Thanks Budge & co.

TBThe real reason……..because the later it gets, the further TB gets into the “pre-ride rum absorption” Therefore, you could end up anywhere :woohoo:
Ride safe all.
Mammoth effort Guru, well done!
