Chris was going the other way, I thought he said in a post in the last month, a 500 was on the cards!
Hondas got nothing to do with it Eags!
When you bash yourself up all day long & make better decisions than your competitors you should be rewarded. But, unfortunately it seems politics pushes its way into everything !……………….Wonder what would have happened if Coma had got stuck & Despres had avoided losing time?
After hearing last year that some teams seemed to get away with speeding through speed limited areas etc, you get a little sus.
But hey, there may be more to it that we don’t about.
Coma didn’t seem to get too stuck!
I don’t get it?
How come “certain” riders f&@k up & take the punt on speeding through darker colour terrain…….then come a gutsa & get stuck……..they are later given most the time they lose back?????
Race run from Paris…………Depres from ?
Nickj wrote:Once home I got on it straight away and had a ride around my place to see how she felt and she felt really goodHow easy is it to ride a bike that turns & stops when you want it too? A few less ponies, but hey I reckon it’s perfect for the tighter stuff!

LEMON, LIME AND SODA…………WTF.
They must be a different height to the REAL Bundy cans……………..That way you can put One under each foot when you sit down to do a wee!!!!
Thanks to the North Coast gang who combined to help set-up a great weekend.
Especially STM & Nickj.
I had a great 3 days riding. Didn’t even notice the weather, how was it?
Great group of people and plenty of laughs.
Highlights for me:Murphs US Navy Seal like roll (you know, when they are sitting on the side of an inflatable rubber ducky at speed & just roll off the side!) off the back of the new 500….on the beach….on the back wheel….whilst in Top gear!! Priceless. I love Murphs attitude, he just got up laughing & said oh well.
Deejays 3 rides effort, I’d hate to be his girlfriend……no matter how many times he got thrown off, he just kept mounting back up! Well done DJ, great effort.
FactoryPhil & Roachies’ goon riding display……..how funny was that!!!!!
Roachies’ effortless ride straight up the Widowmaker……how easy did he make that look.
BaggyBritches first ride with OB’s…..how good did he go?
And how good does a 650 sound? (I may be a little biased)Damo’s & Murphs’ wet & slippery successful conquering of the Widowmaker!!! Champions.
Sending TB into the bush during one of our handlebar banging contests. His eyes were like dinner plates he reckons, as he plotted a course through the trees. (‘bout time I got one back on him)
Everyone helping out when needed.
Spuds metalwork
Nickj & wifes’ generosity for a worthy cause.
KTM coffs for helping out Adam when he needed it.
Menace for driving all that way…..good to see him again….but I don’t know how you can imbibe all those different types of liquids and still stand!!
KTMs for being KTMs……we had plenty of rests.
Moto, for absolutely obliterating himself on Saturday night. Note to self….don’t ever try matching it with Menace in the drinking department!
Murphs Swahealy speaking alter ego who appears after a sh#*load of drinks. I could only pick up on every 3rd or 4th word by the end of the night.
Thanks to TB, Mal5.1 (can ride) & Deejay for their company……a very funny trip.
Again thanks to STM for all his work, it’s much appreciated.
I had a ball.

PS. Spuds metalwork was going straight to the poolroom…………however, I don’t have a pool….and I don’t have a room……..so……it’s gone to the garage/bench wall!

Oh……also, I now have ‘son of xr’ watching over the new wall hanging!!!

Aaron must have parked his 450 too close to my 650! Now, what am I going to do with a 250? Yeehaa
Crash
PPS. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something…oh well, I’ll just post another one later.
Here’s a little more incentive to check it Mick………..thanks to all the “sky’s falling, planet’s cooking, ice is melting” panick merchant tree huggers, you can’t (or soon want be able to) buy the old style element type system!!!!! You’ll have to replace it with a ‘heat pump’ type unit which costs mega bucks (not the $1000 or so)

That does look like a schmick job Lefty, good stuff.

Where would Ducati be if they got listened to Stoner 4 years ago?
Hey Action,
Just use common sense. Don’t buy cheap, no name servo fuel……it can have anything mixed in with it to make up the volume. Have seen Diesel fuel that was so high in heater oil content that it would solidify (wax) in the coldest part of the morning and then not restart until the heat of the day returned it to norm.
Personally, my trucks have only used BP Diesel from a servo that is well frequented by trucks and sell heaps of fuel (Padstow/Milperra). I haven’t had a problem.
CrashAs of a 10 minutes ago, Fish & DJ hadn’t made it to Birdsville………however, apparently, Fish had a dent in his rim that you can see a gap between the rim and the tube/tyre. This happened hours ago. He & DJ were limping in until the tyre decided to shred like that tyre in the Bathurst race yesterday. So, DJ has just riden in to Birdsville and a couple of them are riding back out to fix/ recover Fish and his bike. Stay tuned.
TB & Nick at Birdsville Pub suckin’ down cool ones. Had a great day. Boulder had the most monumental tank slapper through a causeway at 100kph+, but rode it out! I think Eags is onto something, will probably head South East towards the original target tomorrow.
