The bloke I spoke to in Casino said his Husky dealer removed the O2 sensor and they put a resistor across it, and all goes ok. I’m not sure what resistance to use but will get the dealer to do it for me.

Thanks for all the advice…. I went riding down Grafton way last weekend and met a bloke with an 08 Husky 610… He has pissed the cats off… removed the o2 sensor and put a Barret pipe on…. he reckons it goes like shit off a shanghai, it’s not too loud and doesn’t get as hot…. sounds good to me.:)

Hi Guys, I’ve done Fraser Island twice on my KTM300, as long as you prepare your bike and wash the hell out of it when you get home they seem to handle it OK.. Bearings and pads are no worries, the inland trails are great fun:woohoo: … the run up to the northern tip is alright if you’ve never done it before but is long, straight and fairly boring. For those who’ve never done Fraser by bike it is a must do at least once. My belief is in years to come they will stop bikes going over. Gotta watch out for 4wd,s though as of course there a lot slower than the bikes… But once on the inland trails less travelled, you have the whole place to yourselves… Any questions about Fraser just ask me.. cheers

I read in ADB blokes just changing the pipe made it run like crap…. I,m waiting for the bike shops to re-open as the dealer said he found a pipe that may be compatible…

Hi Tiny, I can’t just stick a pipe on because of the catalytic converter…. I should of got a carburetted model. Sounds like I,ve got to spend big on a brand new bike to get it going as good as an 06 or 07’… Not happy Jan. Going to give the dealer a serve when they get back from holidays

HI KTM01, Haven’t been to woodenbong yet, but we are going to check it real soon.. I know guys who have stayed at the pub at woodenbong and ride out from there. As far as I know rego is essential and the publican is bike friendly and keen to offer advice as to where to go. I will keep you informed.

Thanks for the tip i will check it out… as far as i know our motors are identical with the exception of E.F.I which i thought would be a good thing…. maybe not such a good thing. My gearing is the same also and i’ve got my KTM300 for fast bush i got the big girl for more touring type riding so sounds like i made a good choice, I hope.

She’s got standard gearing at this stage which is a 45 rear and i assume a 14 up front… she’s only just ticked over 1700km’s. I’m a skinny bastard so i will go down a couple on the rear once the chain and sprockets are worn. I think it’s the catalytic converter causing the problem… not sure

The RTCB rides are pretty good.. the tamborine ride is ok, not sure about the one at Boonah, but I’m the new bloke any ride sounds good. Like the idea of a ride and a beer after to meet everone and maybe organise something in person.
