Okay of to the shops now to buy three leatte braces, one for me and one each for my two boys. Mate you are absolutely correct what’s $400 bucks for your kids safety!

Just did my first oil change and replaced the thermo switch hopefully haven’t made a hash of it and my bike won’t blow the radiators and seize the engine. May be slightly nervous for the first half an hour of tomorrow’s ride. Lol.

    Dan,

With the kato’s the radiator overflow drips onto the header pipe giving off steam, usually making it look worse than it is.

If the radiator is slightly over full this will happen when the engine gets up to temperature, venting out the excess coolant and finding it’s happy level.

A fan is a necessary item for singles (especially in Ourimbah).

    Adam.

Thanks mate that’s hopefully what happened engine ice and a thermo switch is in order.

Nice one mate, I have three and the oldest two have their own bikes and are always bugging me for a ride.
Even the youngest, my little girl loves working on bikes with me in the garage.
It’s a great wholesome family activity (just got to talk my wife into a bike) lol

L’s on Monday all going to plan, would love a ride any time after that. Heading of OS for work in two weeks so I’m keen to max out my riding time until then. Cheers mate appreciate the offer!

Yeah I’m a massive fan of jumping in the deep end hopefully it pays of for me this time. I used to have a wrf250 and have had a Rmx 250 I got cheap for a bit to ride around with the kids at a mates farm so I haven’t totally been of the bike but I defiantly need some practice.
Thanks for the replies gents, much warmer response than I have had on other sites!
