Plus 1 on the communications. Ordered $500 of parts from Sutto’s last Monday (9 days). Haven’t heard anything since. Just a quick call to say they are on back order and be here XXX day is service.

Good choice, if it goes anything like the one with 84 on it that was tearing up my paddock yesterday you will love it.

Started to strip the little bike down and Im definatley going to have to replace the fuel tank or repair the cracks in it somehow. They dont appear to go all the way through and are all located in the front / upper part of the tank.

    So
1] Can cracks in plastic tanks be repaired?
    2] If so how
3] If not any one got atank they want to flog?
    Cheers snowy

    Ok my two cents:
    1. Possibly, but would you want your kids riding around on this? One decent hit may be enough to shatter the tank and spray fuel everywhere. Potential for disaster right there.
    2. See above
    3. I agree with H, check ebay, gumtree, put a “wanted” ad here and possibly on ADVRider in the Australian section (covers a lot of ground).

Edit: Here’s an XR100 at Molong just down the road from me for $250. Cheap parts bike perhaps? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/molong/motorcycles/xr-100-/1026007256

    +1 on that one. :)

Good weekend for me, I had the fuel tank from the quad under the bench to keep it out of the road, fuel had leaked out and when I started welding I heard a woof at my feet, No fuel tap on it so when I grabbed it more fuel came out.

Petrol and fire don’t mix too good.

The first thing I would check is the top of the motor, if no oil up there for 10 years it could be a little rusty inside.

    And will pick up.
Can you tell me a bit about it.

Handlebars have 6″ of free play, front and rear wheels have 4-6″ of freeplay up and down and left to right. drive belt cuts in after 5 secs of revving. frame snapped in half but repaired but still articulates over ruff ground.
Just knocked out the front wheel bearings ( not much damage from the oxy)

    honestly, its farked.
