While I was at it I thought I better check the bottom timing chain sprocket.
Lucky I did as it had a major crack which caused it to jump and shear off the key.
Just got to spend a bit of time now trying to figure out a way to get the sheared off key out of the shaft.

Just spent the last hour searching through dirt, dust and chock shit trying to find a valve clip after getting frustrated and hitting it with a hammer after they refused to go back in place.

Seeing Mick hasn’t mentioned the weather and I’m not riding I’ll mention it. Its 60% chance of 1-5mm for Saturday and 20% chance of less than 1mm for Sunday, 😆

The quad bike decided to die today, was sitting on it playing with the phone when it started to die so gave it a few revs, no response. Tried to restart but sounded like it had given in to 1000 hrs of abuse. Pulled the side cover off, timing ok, valve check ok, spark ok, but no compression at all.
Just finished welding up the frame after snapping her in half to make things worse.
    Cheap quad for sale now.
