WARNING !!!!
This is a filter not an adult sex toy. :woohoo:
Found my greenslip that is due at the end of the month for the rav, $304. Haven’t looked around yet for something cheaper but still not sure why there is such a big difference to the triton. Assume maybe weight.
jtb2879 wrote:YES you can tow an unregistered vehicle from where it is to effect repairs upon it and /or to prepare it for rego. Here it is written on the RMS website: RMS WEBSITE
“When you can drive unregistered:
Unregistered light vehicles can be driven in NSW for the purpose of obtaining registration by the most direct or convenient route:
To the nearest convenient location for any other purpose directly associated with the registration process.”There is legislation that covers this but don’t have time to dig it up right now. I’d be VERY careful about swapping plates out from trailer to trailer. Especially considering the minimal cost of rego on a basic box/bike trailer compared to the $1200 odd worth of fines you can cop for doing it.
My brother and I built one of my trailers and at a pink slip inspection about FIVE years AFTER it was registered the mechanic propped us for no chassis No. stamped on it. He took his metal stamps and a hammer and fixed that for us. Easy.
We bought an unregistered truck and drove it home, got pulled over by the coppers and he said it was ok to drive it home to do repairs before rego.
We knocked up our bike trailer at home using the axel and springs from another old trailer. The old trailer had a number welded on the frame so I just welded the same number on the new one and sent the missus to town to rego it. Turned into a nightmare with no proof of ownership, no vin and it needed an engineering check and weight check, took her all day to do it with 4 trips to the RTA.
Hope you don’t have that much of a problem.

You know what I blame for a fair bit of what makes people like that ???F$^&G FACEBOOK, TWITTER etc etc
People become so damn self absorbed they cannot interact properly anymore with real people face to face !!!Can`t put OBT in the same category,,, `cause we all get along great and alway help one another as well as complete strangers al the time
That`s my 2c worth mate
I think you have hit the nail on the head there.

When your used to going in to ever store and be greeted by ‘How’s it going, what’s the weather like up your way’ and every second car waving at you on the way to town it was a bit of a shock.
Some people are bloody rude, time to vent.
Done a road trip with the young bloke down the hwy so decided to stop at one of those famous restaurants to get some lunch. I looked down at my hands and noticed they still had a nice coating of the north coasts finest green stuff (cowshit) so hit the restroom to scrub up. On the way out to the main door I noticed it had a small window and I could see a nice good looking woman walking towards it. So I did the nice thing and pulled the door open and stood back to let her in. F-ing bitch didn’t even look at me or make any eye contact and just walked past without saying a word. Now I have to admit when you wear the same cloths around a dairyfarm for two weeks you don’t look your best but I had my work boots on (no rubber boots today) so I was presentable to most people but the bitch just kept walking.
So anyway I let her know what I thought of her as she enter the ‘ladies room’ and made sure she knew how I felt as she left the restaurant without ordering anything.
But F-me, how hard is it to say thanks?Trailboss wrote:Dickie wrote:Pair of Shift Combat Y7 Motocross boot in good condition. Can drop off at the Wauchope Nav ride if need be.Size Dickie pls or is it youth 7
