Pair of Shift Combat Y7 Motocross boot in good condition. Can drop off at the Wauchope Nav ride if need be.
Stood around while the young bloke tried to figure out how to take a KTM axel out.

I’m after some input on boots
I purchased a pair of Oneil about 4 rides ago and have ripped the sole on the kick starter. There in the boot doctor and he’s attempting to glue and stitch it back together but he’s not confident on saving them..
He told me that the pair I have with the moulded sole arnt much chop and recommend on getting a pair you can re sole if need be.
I’ve been shopping in rocky today but only come across the moulded type and was wondering what brand/type you guys are usingCheers H
4 rides, I’d be tempted to take them back to the dealer and get him to mention it to the rep on his next visit. Can’t hurt.
No idea Boze, only done 110 hrs on it since I got it, think I adjusted it once or twice but never looked. The old girl rocks along so it sort of in the I don’t really care catergory.
Seen it at 1999 two days ago, was tempted to join the wife up incase there was a prize but figured the admins would be onto me pretty quick.
Trailboss wrote:No special tools required Nick. Drain the coolant, remove the hoses and I put the garden hose into the top of the radiators one at a time and flush them out. I then put the hose into the water pump inlet and run the engine with engine running watching the water out of the engine until it’s clear. I stop the bike, turn of the hose and remove it from the inlet. I then start the bike and give it a little rev to pump what water I can out of the system. (5 seconds tops of engine running) Inspect all your hoses and clamps and reconnect them. Fit a new thermostat if your bike has one(you need a thermostat to control coolant flow) and fit a new radiator cap if it’s over 4 years old its due. Fill with coolant to the coolant manufactures mix recommendation don’t run it straight if it is meant to be mixed with water. Fill it slowly and let it stand so the air has a chance to get out of the system. After about 10mins I start it and let it idle for about 5 mins with the cap off to bleed the air out. I top it up and take it for a 10 min ride, recheck it when it cools, top it up and ride it.TB
I thought someone that goes to that much effort would change the copper washer on the drain bolt as well. 😆
Thanks again Nick for the offer on the forks. Can I send them down via courier? Would be good to get a report on how bad they were and how good you made them :cheer:
Any news on Hollis with his broken foot?
Added another 5 bids.
I’m surprised they make such as chunky apparatus for a starter when low weight seems to be the norm and that it failed. The size of the rollers almost seems overkill..
Done deal, I’ll donate the balance to OBT.

Sorry usi, no new YZ…Dickie, you nailed it, what bike do you have?
Cool, 03 KTM 525. Was going to get some work done on the front forks as there is virtually no movement. But since all the oil leaked out of one of the forks she seems to go a bit better.
Top one looks like the new one.
10 out 10 for effort Ollie. Time for bed I think Murf.
