As distinct from no, being one of the alternate answers :cheer:.Definitely rather avoid Ourimbah as I believe it is not worthy of time during pristine conditions.
I’m keen to go somewhere else.
Moto had a million and one excuses today so he may not ride is what I gathered from it.I will ride.

No use me having day off to go sit around, I’d be requiring a days entertainment aka a ride.

Quote:Sounds good Huskybloke, Are you still planning on going up Friday though? What about you Diddel, when are planning on driving up? Friday morning, Friday arvo, Friday night, Sat morning? All excellent questions, none of which I have answers for .
I get home from work at around 16:15 so that means a late arrival unless I have the day off and go up early.Trailboss wrote:

10 minute job.
Your Right Diddel good 4 day practice
TB
My tip for tyre changing is use a bucket to support, or a proper support if your that way enclined . Little trick for getting the valve and rim lock in also.

Quote:Murph,
sounds like a great ride.
All i can say after reading your report is
ahh F#ck !bloody Diddel asking to start early. if i had of got up and went through pre ride routine of startin car and hitchin trailer i probably would have had time for nrma to turn up fix car and still make ride.
due to the early start everything was done the night before.
its easy to look for people to blame in situations like these and unfortunately Diddel is has to cop it on this occassion. :laugh:on your fork seals, Lotsa put me onto a trick for seal preservation.
cut up a piece of foam thin, bout 1/2 cm wide and as long as it takes to wrap around your fork leg. slightly oil the foam and jam it betwen outer fork seal protector/dustboot and inner seal. acts like an airfilter picking up dirt. take it out and wash it every couple of rides or after mudy rides. i had a leaky fork seal which he fixed with the old feeler guage and have since used this method and havent had a problem since. i used foam from the ironing board.
cheers
tf2I use about 1/2 inch think bits of wiping up foam.
