Never give up an apprenticeship!!! Accept any other training you are offered as well, lap it all up mate, it may come in handy later on in your career

Diesel seems to be the way to go if ya can get a foot in for sure, I wished I had done that a while ago & got into the Marine Engineer area You can earn a tonne of $$$ both here & especially overseas on luxury Superyachts and Charter boats, live aboard, travel the world, meet tonnes of great people & chicks galore too

Good Luck mate, Keep at it

Yachts don’t interest me but bigger stuff would probably be good.
I’m after a Sheila who rides faster then me, seen what the non riding ones do :(.

Wouldn’t give it up but trying to decide whether to finish here or try transfer into more $$$/diesel or something different like oil/gas.
Month on month off would be sweet specially 16 hour days living at work, would make a killing.
Easily go a month without grog to .

Should I be aiming to finish time in steel industry or move into diesel?
Main problem with steel is its mostly in places surrounded by houses and not forest.

Add 5 parts petrol to 1 parts spark, remove all wanted stuff then crack a red bull and pretend to be shocked.
Or just the 5 parts petrol to the grease…

I’m a first year fitter+ machinist in steel industry currently.
One of the apprentices in my year reckons mines not interested unless you’ve got some diesel experience, is that true?
    No interest in construction.

Probably for the best, wouldn’t want to threaten damage to a perfectly good crusher by putting a Honda through it .

    Greetings old bulls.

I’m a bit of a trail hack from Newcastle. Just got on board the Berg 390 and am loving being out on the trails…..just gotta work on my downhills….most people could walk down a hill faster than I ride. Stand and squeeze and seat.

Looking to get out pretty well every weekend and even the odd arvo ride after work. I like this.

I dont really dig the summer riding though…would prefer to surf while it’s stinking hot but will make the most out of the cooler days through the summer. Don’t encourage it.

Love exploring new areas with smaller easy going groups. I like exploring but corner man is fun.

I’ve signed up for Puddles ride this weekend. Looking forward to meeting some new riders and riding some new trails.
    Fair drive up there.

    Cheers,
    Brendan

What grade would you class yourself?

Will the torque be sufficient to keep me happy coming from the 4 banger?less valves in the way so I’d imagen so
Will my steering damper swap straight over?
Will I get someone else to swap my PivotPegz over?
Will my 777 race number make me go fully sik factory fast? :silly:
Will I get used to the lack of engine braking? My main non mechanical dislike to 4 strokes, hate the stuff, spend half the time rolling on a 2.
Will I get so annoyed with mixing oil that I burn the bike, claim on insurance and go buy a Berg?do you burn the fridge when you get sick of mixing cordial?

All very valid questions…..soon to be answered

Learnt the hard way not to listen to non postal service blokes, Me: “reckon it’ll rain?” tf2: “nah you’ll be right”
It did in fact rain on the way back. tf2 got wet .

Quite a good ride a lot of sniffing around but the stuff found was great.

Also tf2 was broken by a hill, full of excuses of course .
