I asked in the ride gatherings for this ride if anyone was keen for an overnighter cause were forecaster for 27oc for the 2 days, well not much feedback so threw in the swag just in case. :unsure:Luck would have it that Jonsa was staying and was keen to run over his loop planned for the 2nd day of the awaited Barringtons ride in February . :woohoo: :woohoo: yes . :woohoo:
So left at 8am, and for a while Jonsa would speed off only to wait for me at the next corner.
After 30 mins Jonsa switched from race pace to cruise pace and it flowed the rest of the day.:cheer:
Well….. Jonsa’s loop was the best days riding I have had all year. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
5km downhill :cheer: not hard just insanely long……. well 5km long.
Terrible Billy or Big Billy hill climb . :cheer:
Seems to me that this is big bore heaven here, power is king. 😆 :woohoo:
A new 3 stage hill which was the steepest I have climbed this year.  :cheer:
3 Hills I had to change back to 1st gear. :S
and ear popping decents and accents. :cheer:
fun. :woohoo: :woohoo:
Big thanks to Jonsa for leading and hospitality
:cheer:
So…….. do yourself a favour and get on the Barringtons ride this February.

1st I have to thank Snowy.Adam and Murph for offers to ride on Saturday but got caught up in alcohol
fuelled festivities on Friday night and didn’t make those rides.Luckily Huskybloke posted up a ride for Sunday so that was the go.
Early start. This imposed some challenges with dust and low angle of the sun ( some blinding situations).
Well Wallaroo hasn’t changed much with rock riding being the norm for the day.
Huskybloke remembered the way and not much traffic over some of the trails had.
oh bonus bike report…….
Had a ride on a Sherco 300 4t….. goes good found myself in the wrong gear at times or maybe the bike didn’t want a fat man riding it
I’m too big for this bike   that said if I was say 85kg person on this bike would be a good job.. very simular to a husky 310. Stops and steers better than my bike ( doesn’t help when I have a front fork seal leaking on the front brake)
anyway had a good time and thanks to Huskybloke for posting this ride. :cheer:
No photos this ride
dude
Awesome Al……. :cheer:
Excellent choice…
welcome to the green team.
sorry just read the other thread and found the answer is…………. ‘Sherco’ :cheer:
awesome huskybloke
So what type of bikes are ya going to sell ?
Murph the surf wrote:Sounds like it was a good ride
