Arrived at destination after dark.
There was talk that the birthday ride had been cancelled.
Which was true of course as ‘per other pervious random posts.’
The Tamworthains were restless.
“Oh dear”… I thought it’s ‘like a leap year‘…. :S
Anyway as per other posts…..went for a ride and happened to met up with some totally random riders who kept travelling in the direction that I wanted to go………how random was that.
A good time was had. :cheer:
Pity about the birthday ride  …………… next year maybe. :cheer:
Oh nice report menace.
Hail King Bols.

Been a member for a couple of years now and have enjoyed the site,
good work old bulls,
Stumbled upon site when googleing trailriders…..
1st ride was a Watties ride with moto and dand and have riden heaps and heaps of rides in various locations since. :cheer:
….varitey is a spice of life. :cheer:
Thanks to all that have posted up rides…..cause riding by yourself is just too dangerous and lacks fun…… like surfing by yourself cause you always catch the biggest wave and no body saw.. …did it happen.. .no proof..
Thanks old bull trailriders c u at bday ride :cheer:

Like what Murph and Adam said.
Was following Litmurph when he had his mishap……we were riding up a rutted out road / firetail and
litmurph was on the right edge of trail but these prickly bushs were forceing him into the rut
which he did at speed….was expecting him to jump up and pick up his bike but that didn’t happen. :unsure:anyway after the Murphs left……. it got a lot more singliey and was a lot of fun…
great conditions
big rock slabs :cheer:
sand
clay
marbles :woohoo: 😆
good crew
good fun
thanks to Adam and all.
Gday adam’
I would like to join in on this ride. :cheer:

Cool temps.
A little dusty at times but damp in the gullies.
Getting to be a rockfest out there but luckily the rocks were dry so traction was good.
big day with about 80kms? of riding.
Didn’t have the help the crew out really cause they were all good riders.
I enjoyed the day.
Thanks to all.
You can lock me in murph………
Remember it’s a 3/4 ride………
This could very well be the last ride ‘Murph the surf’ will put up for quite some time …
so for the last chance to ride with Murph in the Watties better put your name down for this ride.
besides you need some ride fitness for the bday ride  well you will have it after this ride… :woohoo:
Gday old bull trailriders…
Please add me to the list…..
Lots of old bulls I know will be there so not sure how I will be able to get a chat with everyone……………………..
but I will try…
will there be stickers there to aquire? ……
will there be birthday cake? ….. :cheer:
lets hope for damp conditions and not a dust bowl with this many riders…

Party murph rings me up the night before and we decide to go for a ride….
so in the morning after some overnight rain we set a bee line to the 1st hill. 2nd one in the 3 hills ride.
1st hill Amazon that I have done several times was bypassed.
2nd hill (not sure of the name) should be ‘old logging trail’ with slabs of slippery rock, was a fun hill after the lartarna
enterance which gave me a bloody whip across me gob, oh the taste of blood early in the morning. :laugh:where were u lartarna man??? we have a job 4 u..
Anyway good fun hill just a bit dawnting and sometimes a ‘go and try again….’
3rd hill Conjiwoy trail which I think is tougher than Amazon………
Clay, roots and of course rocks and steep……….. ‘not a track I would recommend’……
but we did it ’cause we can’ ………….right Polly :laugh:No photographic evidence of a flip so that didn’t happen……. and a true flip is where the bike summersults over you and I have only done that once on the old husky.
good fun day out
Hey old bull trailriders…
I too have taken that line over that ledge………
from the other side it looks like a jump so when I rode it, I was surprised but I had way too much heat to stop and just powered on….
a bit hairy on the landing but made it ok……….I wasn’t on a ktm tho….

Thanks Mick I haven’t really looked at the ADV bit of the forum and didn’t know they had a ride report bit there.
u guys know how to load up a bike to the max…… looks like ya have your own personal protection cell ( in case of a lay down just hang on tight the gear will be your barrier)..
