    Ditto.

Plus I wear a jacket. It has some elbow padding and it lessens the scrub bitch slapping that’s funny    you in the tight stuff ;)

    Adam.

Same boat as snowy but what about one of those neck braces built into the pressure suit ?

Does some company make them or am I just dreaming. :P

Had a 1.5km swim race thing, came 3rd, :cheer:

Then headed off to the Gap to meet up with the Murphberg crew and just got lost.
Rode heaps of single track and came a gutza on a rock step down  anyway I was at Sugarloaf. Contacted the crew and met them at Amazon,

Not much of a crew left at Amazon but everyone was going up so, so shall I young Diddel ( young people heal fast won’t be long till ya on the bike again). 😆

Much easier to ride up Amazon in the dry.

That one rock added to stage 3 rocks and made it a pleasurable accent. ;)

Then rode home grade 4 trail to polish off a great Murphberg. ;)

Though I only rode ½ of it.

Finishers were Murph the surf, Mal 5.1, Pikey, Scotty H and Dude

Another great day.

    Friday Adventure Ride :cheer:

All good open fire trails flowing for kilometres and kilometres some single track every now and then. :cheer:

Got a bit misty on a farm and I had concerns about a bull being separated from his cows by ‘us’ as we rode by.

Met up with Snowy and Polly and they showed us a leaf littered fast flowing mud soaked track yehaa. :P

Had lunch, rode back to farm stay.

I have now experienced Adventure riding. ;)

Really ‘cool’ calm layback kind of day :)

    Saturday B)

It was a lovely day overcast hey no it wasn’t the weather was shitty.
It was hard to get motivated but on with the mankini and it was full steam ahead. ;)

Bike stalled after start up and I couldn’t get it going. I pressed the magic button again and again no good ,
Some one suggested kick start it.
    It works. 😆
    ‘New experiences everyday.’

    Tally ho we’re away.

There was a misty rain and just watered up me safety glasses and I would wipe them clean with my mud soaked gloves with limited results. :S

Hattos got the trick.: He has a small section of ‘Shammy’ in a lolly container cable tied to his handle bars. Magic gonna make one. Thanks Hatto. :cheer:

Ya love the tracks up this way mud slippery cool hill climbs the crew moved along pretty good, no big offs or breakdowns considering the weather was very assy classy. ;)

Any way ya should have been there.

    Where were you?

Oh rode the deepest rut I have ever seen. 😆 Cool. B)

Nearly fell off once but my hands were still on the handle bars, so don’t count. :P

Thanks for a super weekend Mick, best one this year so far. :) :cheer: :cheer: 😆

As a newbie to this forum, I can use the cook’s XT250 on some south coast rides. I’m asking what do I need to take and what to the organisers provide on these rides.
    thanks,
    Stu

Rat dude you have bin told what to take but the second part of your question asks what do the organisers provide on these rides.

I say knowledge of your area number 1.

    Know where u r taking people. :P

Be prepared to ride bikes up snotty hills if you make the grade too easy.
    Suss out grading system.

And have a mate to be sweep not essential but its good that 2 people know where your going. ;)

    my 2 cents
