Morgo’s Birthday Bash
Had been raining 2 days earlier and I was keen for a ride.
‘Conditions Perfect’Morgo led and took us down some different tracks than the usual ones.
The crew was moving along at a good pace all the way which was very good. After a bunch of single track and fire trail riding we arrived at the gap servo and every man and his bike was there, a good day for a ride.
More riding and the group broke into two as Murph wanted to go up a track called ‘Amazon’.
I asked him “Do you think I can make it up?”
He said “why not give it a go”Up Amazon
I don’t know if I should tell you the truth or just sugar coat my comments.
I go sugar coat. :cheer:
Phsyco madness.
Unrelenting uphill accent seemed like 100 meters between obstacles / challengers.
Finding ones own personal physical limits and exceeding them.
The hardest hill I have ever taken on, cause it was so long and took so much effort. We all made it. :woohoo:
Lets say that’s one item I can cross off my bucket list.
Another great ride thanks Morgo.
A day to remember.
Anyone who was on the ride that wants to get a copy of the DVD PM me.
Hey Morgo
just got the nod.
I would like to join your adventure Bday ride.

A nice day for a nice adventure’I was sweep for the day and early on it became apparent that dust would be an issue, for me anyway.
Lucky there was lots of single trails.
Huskybloke and Coastcut kept me company while the others were always in a hurry to climb some hill or obstacle,
I don’t think we or I held them up too much, yes at times we took the more sane option.
Felt it was more sensible thing to do, very early in riding season want no more injuries.
Period.
Come to think of it there was heaps really the vast majority we didn’t go round. :huh:Huskybloke was caught out on unfamiliar territory but to his credit he just kept getting up and getting on with it to finish a 100 odd KM murph ride. Good job.
:cheer:
Had 1 off but you get that, knee braces are great.
Pivot Pegz
are really cool too with feeling less fatigued and no arm pump at any stage of the ride.
They make me ride in a more balanced fasion, no ankle pain. Thats a good thing. :cheer:Anyway had a great day you should have been there.
Dude.Murph the surf
Seems like I’m beenig lead into yet another murph adventure.
So if I’m going Ill be sweep or as I call it ‘catch up dude’.
So the pace has just slowed up a bit.
Don’t be too imtimadated by Murphs talk up.
It’s a grade 4 ride with some challenging just maybe makeable hillclimbs.
All good fun.
Dude.ohh body armour and knee braces saved the day and I can now walk again so all good.
About the fall; Big hol was leading and we got to the drop and he was lineing up to go down a the soft way and I said ‘like someone who thought he knew what he was saying’.
“Hol just drop down the hill”
he said “show me”
and I went past him
and just like AB The front wheel was sliding a bit sideways a out of no where a negative thought entered my head that was
‘bail’ what a dumb thought.
but I just f**ked up. :unsure:Hol said “Nah dont wanna try that. Ill go down my own way thanks dude”
I joined Aust Blues ‘SUPERMAN off Razorback club’
Not a club I recommend anyone else join.
It a long way to fly with your eyes closed.
Just a post ride photo.
Ill do better next time.
Seeing as I’m keeping my 300 now that may happen sooner rather than later
I’ll look forward to it, I’ve been known to drink an alcoholic beverage every now and then

good on ya moto dude money anit everything ya gotta live to have a good time catch ya on the trails
To question Id like to meet STM never seen a purple hippo sober before.
Never intented to roost fellow riders so dont go off if u get in the way of my spray.
(actually didnt know what ‘roost’ was it was always called “spray” when I was a wee lad).
I work on the tact of payback, very rarly needed.
But the OBT,s I ride with are too cool for that sort of thing.Corey8 dude
Dont ya like ya Kawasaki.
I reckon the Kawasaki could do 100km/hso do yourself a favour and say get another set of
‘Chain and sprockets’
So u can go faster on gravel roads and keep up with ya mates and when you find dual sports is dangerous due to cars and what not, you can just change to orignal “chain and sprockets’ and be really cool again.
and save lots of money.just an opinion
Paid
Lets get them.
1 set for my Husky TE510 05 model.
Thanks AB.

Ollie dude, Great weekend, it was just all good.
Conditions near enough to prefect for this time of year.
Sprocket hill quite a challenge.
Arm pump from just holding on up them long hills.
No flat tyres just the 2 hold ups; Marine boy Smurph and little bull lost. :woohoo:

Miss time accent by about 20 seconds I reckon.
I would like to thank everyone for their feedback and opinions.
Which I took and replaced tyre.
So its all sorted except the revelling of the
‘When is it time to replace a rear tyre? Formula.’
Maybe its just go hard and after 7 months you get caught on the side of a hill you think
“maybe time to invest in a tyre.”
Maybe its just that.
Just that ????????
Cheers
