I must say” I greatly dislike summer”
Too hot and too dusty.
but it rained and temps were under 30 so away we go.
The tracks on the way out to the creek tracks were rutted out due to rain and new lines had to be taken, anyway out to the creek tracks and surprisingly not much traffic over these tracks
good track except for 1 small section that was highlighted .
Good to ride trailbikes again……..
so have to wait till the next cold front, may even do some bike maintenance….

Nice conditions and Adam led well.
He led well into a disused track that must have took an hour, as gordo said “log, vines and sweat” but this track lead to my nemis ‘dude hill’……..this hill brought me undone in a big way about 3 years ago with murph and mal 5.1 (vid 2) but its way easier when its not a wet clay slope, so was chuffed to conker this beast of a hill.
  :cheer:
Was feeling like I had had enough about 5 hours in but got a second wind and made it to the end :cheer:
Was a Big day out and had a lot of fun.
Thanks to Adam for leading and gordo and Rach for turning up and making it a fun day. :cheer:
Till the next one.
ps nice editing there Adam.
Adam dude
Would like to attend this ride.

Should be fun, :cheer:

Murph described the ride good.
OK stand outs for me is basin hill that caught me out on a big boulder I normally do easy… result bike upside down but murph was there to lend a hand so all good :cheer:
But rode OK for the rest of the ride, was getting a bit worn out ( but u get that) and piked the last couple of hills but rode close to 5 hours worth.
Thanks for the invite and leading murph. :cheer: I had a workout and a good day out.
no piccys or vids of this ride cause I know I would only be filming bush and tracks (yes I was the weakest link)     :woohoo:
Your going to have fun in 2 weeks old bulls…………… but due prior commitments I won’t ride the basin….. but will ride Sunday tho. :cheer:

Hey All
Well I’m back in town again. That’s another week gone. The surfed turned it on this week. With one day too big to surf. My mate Adam has gone back to Margaret River but I have run into another bloke on a yacht. He turns out to be the brother of the girl my best mate from school married. What a small world. The fishing has been great also. I feel I haven’t done enough diving this trip but the water hasn’t been exceptionally clear due to the winds and swell. Still had a nice dive with a few Manta’s the other day. Bloody hard to position the boat, jump out and hope they stay around for a piccy, always trying to stay with the sun behind me. Hoping the boat doesn’t drift off too far. It seems as though the whales are heading south again or at least that was the direction they were all going yesterday.
Fishing yesterday was hard work but I managed to get 4 Golden Trevally. Some were thrown back due to my freezer being full. I had a school of good size ones at the back of the boat so all you had to do was drop a bait in and hook up. That’s the easy part. Trying to land them in the boat with no fight to slow them down is almost impossible. If you let them run and try and wear them out a bit the sharks end up with them. If you try and reel them straight in the 15kg line snaps. Still its all pretty exciting fishing. I guess I’m getting 1 fish for every 6 or more the sharks get. Sometimes the ratio is much worse.
Its been very hot here the last few days. When the wind doesn’t blow the temperature soars.
Anyway enjoy the photos, I certainly enjoy taking them
Cheers
Thanks for chiming in funky I was told you were in it and was aiming for top 150 …
so well done funky and LC.

I haven’t been riding for 3 years because health reasons
is it still possible to go from seahampton to sugarloaft to freemans?
& can u get under the new highway from seampton rd to minmi?
thnx
jackEasy along the ridge road.
The valley road is a different story….. there is a locked gate and the track around the back was…. blocked by a ‘mine subsidence event’ that is taped off (more than likely a trail around this ) but haven’t been there for 4 months, we had to go to killy to get around this .
