Diddel
[Cessnock has been good thus far and have heard nothing other than good.
Bad dealers is reason I didn’t repeat the 300.
Thats where i got mine from and I had no problemos with them or the bike. I know a few other blokes from up the coast and here in Newy also go there for their new ktms. They have a good rep for enduro bikes and alot of good riders come from around there. Good one Diddel …catch ya on the trails mate

Firstly they arent all paid to wear one, I know one of Australias top off road guys paid for his. I think it works, nah I would like to believe it works and I am very much a factual person hell the greatest fastest wheelstand I ever did on Cresent Head rd in front of everyone on Micks friday birthday ride was wearing the band, next day I didnt and lost balance and smashed my radiator

    TB
Im with you TB ya gotta have a bit of faith. That little bit extra is the magic stuff I reckon.

I once had an XL 500 that I could wheel stand for heaps. Love a good wheelie :)

If I get one I’m wearin it on me todger  :)

I saw something on the tele over the weekend about these and the verdict seems to be a bit unclear still. However mind over matter was suggested.

My oldest son (15) has been into me to get him one so I went to the sports shop and they said $60 and I said maybe next time sunshine. We ended up getting one off the net for $8 which should arrive today, so it will be interesting to see how he goes with it

I’m keen for this ride. Please put me on the list TB. I stuffed me back up a couple of weeks ago. I had an injectin in the lower back and am recovering. Should be back on the bike in a couple of weeks if alls going good. If not i might come up anyway for a few beers around the camp….catch ya’s on the trails. :)

If you wanted to get a minibike/pitbike or the like for your kids to buzz around on would the parents of today consider those sorts of minibikes? I.e simple, fun, unbreakable and most importantly not made in China.

    Yep I’m off topic
A neibourhood mate had the TAS when I was about 5 he was a bit older than me and hardly ever gave me a go. He use to double me around on it all the time though. I remember sitting on it backwards while he’d double me. It was a great little thing. It was a pull start with a clutch and no gears and the foot pegs was just a straight bar weldered through the frame. It was great fun and the reason i love riding today

There is one for sale here at the moment 2001 model. $4200 with spares (unregoed).

Yeah thanks Mick…the one I was looking at was brand new (06)with only 79 kms on it and sold for $8000. It had black exell rims, stainless spokes, fmf pipe, bars and barkies on it. It just needed rego. So ya can see why i wanted it.

I’d mentioned it before on other posts and probably shoulda jumped on it earlier.

I’ll probably wait now until next year. If I keep me 300 I’ll look around for second hand xr or mabye a new Suzuki 650.

Home life is gunna change a bit next year with both sons goin to the same school which will make it easier on the Mrs and I meaning i could ride to work if I had suitable bike that could cover 15kms of bush and about 30kms of tar. That’s what I was thinkin the xr would be good for. So I’ve just gotta decide what I’m gunna do.

Iv’e actually been lookin at one that’s for sale for a while now cause the missus said i can get a new bike next year, but i’m thinkin about keepin the 300 and buying the 650 instead of gettin a brand new bike. than i’ll have two bikes, but i’m a bit undecided. I might go see old mate about it this arvo.

    Hey Mick

I missed out on the XR650. The bloke sold it to one of his sons mates up Stroud way…..bummer

These idiots don’t know how good rego is. They probably think they have the wood on us rego’d riders but they can shove all that sort of hassle up their backsides. We can ride from home or trailer em where ever we want no worries. I bet they don’t race motorx either….pussies.
