Yeah mate the old Indian is a 60’s something model. Unsure of the exact age though. It’s a 2 banger 4 speed with clutch. I’ve had it for about 20 years. A couple of my nephews learnt to ride on it when they were young and I used to ride it around with my boys until it packed it in about 5 years ago. It needs a full reco done to it.
The XR i brought of my mate who needed the cash. It’s was a bitter/sweet kinda deal as he really loved it and was sad to see it go.
Very good idea for all the OldBulls who wanna start giving blood Mick:) I give every 6 months at work, The donor bus picks us up and takes us to Maitland Hospital than brings us back. A women at work organises it. It’s pretty cruisy shootin the breeze with the nurses too and I get a choccy milkshake aswell:)
Yes Jeffro I hear ya mate:laugh:
Nah it will be cool. We will do some smaller rides first to see how we go.I had a go on the 1200 Tenere up at Wauchope a couple of months ago. What a beast of a machine. It was in the wet too and took a bit to get the hang of it especially the tracksion control:huh: It was a blast though.
Good onya’s for having a crack. It’s the aussie way. If we all worried about what people say we’d never get on a bike or take any risk at all. I’m planning on doing some big trips with the missus on an adventure bike as I get older. Just me and her riding off into the sunset. :cheer:
Hey Murgh I got my days mixed up and will be in Sydney on Friday and Sat. Have a good ride mate. I may try and get out on Sunday……Dusty

I feel sorry for people who don’t drink too:lol:
A mate of mine had one of the first or second white ones, which he brought new. He lives at Wallaby Pt and we used to get it on the beach and do figure 8’s on the gas and crank out wheelies and stuff. It was heaps of fun too. It just had a pipe on it and chain and sprockets other than that it was stock. You could ride quick in the bush too. I remember thinking that I was giving it a bit to much but it just kept revvin out real nice. I once went riding with a group of blokes up Taree and a bloke had a 280 one and he was super fast on it. In my defence he new the tracks.HaHa
I reckon Honda done themselves an injustice when they stopped making em as they (XR’s) are/were so versitile right across the whole range. Good luck and hope find a nice tidy one mate.
