Hey,,,
I don`t think me Spot link ever got added either from memory ??? :whistle:http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0mhBqEqeqrLe1JuSXXv7Mviejqixr41dP
Good move on the Spot Connect I reckon Jeffro,
Now you & D Rally will be easily traceable
Is anyone else excited in the lead up to this latest adventute yet ???
I think I know a few ,,,,,,,,,,,Good review Joe

I too am still running standard suspension setup and find it ok for me. Will do it probably later on when a rebuild is required but if it aint broke why fix it
My `10 model is up to similar k`s as yours, just not as hard as yours has been used and I am pretty damn happy still with it`s service so far.
No real signs of the much written about snags. Here`s to another 20,000k :woohoo:
CheersGood choice mate,,
Should serve you well for a few years and take you wherever you want to go with ease
The good old DR`s have more than proven their worth on heaps of rides on here over the years

Just keep the water crossings under the seat height (ask Dejay) :laugh:Cheers
james wrote:Thinking a little outside the square here, but the promise of free beer has me wondering on the identity of the mystery rider. :whistle:Could it possibly be the publican. 😆
No response to that James , I doubt it though,,,This weather on the coast has been hammering the past few days, so hopefully we will be blessed with a good fine weekend for this one ,,,
C`mon people, Lets hit the 30 riders mark and make TB`s head spin for the weekend   :laugh
I`m guessing Boulders is cranking hey Murph ??? :woohoo:
Last time I surfrd that was 15 yrs ago and I saw the biggest Tiger I have ever seen  :pinch:
Big as a bus !!!!!!Looks a bit like a small reverse Murphsberg ride
Thanx for the report and laughs Rookie …

 Loving it NOT :pinch:
Cut my weekend away short, we decided to cut it and pack up yesterday arvo and drove through some steady downpours on the Pacific Hwy for 2 hrs.
Would have been a lot worse today with trafic trying to get south with the road closures etc :whistle:Still trying to get some gear dry this arvo
Me and the Ace have paired up again ,,
I think Chris Adv is giving this one a miss
:laugh:Rider list is still on the rise, which is great and no problem due to the way the style of ride caters to spreading out and no need for cornerman etc
Navigating is good to keep the mind on the job but can catch you out in a blink of an eye if you aren`t careful !!! Great challengeLast two dayer was good to be able to cruise along with your ride buddy/ buddies in a small group , or go as hard as you liked at times also  No dust for 80% of the time either because we were so spread out

Hey Ace, hopefully we can play leap frog again with someone on the property gates if there are any, how cool was that to not have to stop at every gate

I will contact you during next week Ace to finalise the friday arrangements, leave time, meet point etc. Maybe MickP, Lotsa and some others will be keen to tag along for the blacktop run down ???
(I`m heading off for a couple of days late this arvo with the kids)Bring it on, and get onboard peeps for another crackerjack weekend of OBT frivolity :woohoo:

pm sent back mate
ThankyouLooks like I`m all good TB, the old Garmin can be retired

Massive results for a few of our best this year…
How damn good is that Grabbo bloke and Rocket Rod ????
I heard today that the fault that ended Troy O`Connors Dakar was a pinhole in a line to the Oil Cooler :pinch: pumped out all the oil on Day 5 …
His dad is home and the stories of the experience have started to emerge. I hope to catch up with Troy in the coming week to hear his thoughts,,, and shake his hand
Now looking forward to next year :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Well it looks like I might have just grabbed a 60CSX from D-Rally. Comes with some accessories, so hopefully I get it and can grab it from him at Mittagong on the friday.
Will bring the old Garmin still just in case
just waiting to hear back,, Someone might have got in before I spotted it this arvo :dry:It will be great,,,
In any case if you get lost on the route,,,,, just pull up & wait till someone else comes along (providing you are not too far off route) :whistle:And check their bearing or follow
We did plenty of that on the last 2 dayer, and it was great fun

See you in Mittagong
james wrote:I would like to enrol in your GPS day school please TB. :laugh:Do you think classes will be held before the nav ride.
Cheers James
I will answer that one as he is offline at present ,,,,,
My guess is ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,OK,,, I`m gonna go out on a limb here and have a guess ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Almost definately “NOT” but maybe at Mittagong Pub if you are there on the friday before 6pm,,,,,,
TOO SMASHED AFTER THAT

Hey D-Rally,
I`m guesing you grabbed a 62s from Ryda and have no software other than the basemap ?Shonky Maps will work fine for a fair bit off offroad applications. It is free and made for Garmin compatability.
Garmin Basemap is also free and is similar to Shonky but a tad easire to plan routes I think , TB will be able to answer that, he uses both at times
Let us now how you get on,, I am interested in the 62s myself and keen to see how you guys go on the ADV ride with them as opposed to the 60csx`s

Cheers
