Cheers BroGonna attempt a fit in a dirt ride this sat if not working again
I`m keen to feel the difference offroadmy pics,,,
They are a bit ordinary , but all I took on the day :whistle:Start of bikes arriving

Rudolph the 690 resting

A bit of time went into this one from the young fella I thnk

One of the organiser` Hotrods I think

This beauty belongs to a mte of mine from work,, He bought it 20 yrs ago, sat in the shed for 10 before a Resto and has been rego`d the past 10 yrs now.
TRAIL 80

PTW`s Tenere ,, He rode down the Pacific HWY from Port Macquarie like this

More randoms

Rudolph again at rest after the ride to Newy Foreshore

The TOY PILE about halfway into the event  Damn there were some toys delivered

:woohoo:
Enjoy it then 😆Will talk in a few days,,, I will ring you tomorrow avo for that guys number we spoke about,,, I haven`t heard from him yet ???
Cheers mate
Yeah, a great turnout considering the menacing looking sky in the morning with light drizzle (that disappeared quick before the start)

I think bike were down slightly in numbers than last year, it seemed that way on the road anyway,,,,Reports of 4,500 bikers, $45,000 in cash donations and $33,000 in toys :woohoo:
That make a biger total than last years $75,000 all up
Makes it all worthwhile when you see the difference it can make to young kids lives
No matter what the weather is doing, it is a must do thing !!!see todays Herald report here.

That`s a great compilation Jeffro,,
Laughed hard at Gav & Lotsa`s antics when Joe went in the piss :woohoo::laugh:
Surprised this hasn`t made it on here already

 No offence taken TB ,,, and I am not really biased at all

All good James,, no problems with a bit of subjective bater at all,, that`s one ofthe good things we do here …
I might add that the only secondhand stuff I have on the 690 is a set of Touratech racks that were 5 rides old and I got for $350 (half price of retail)
And an Airhawk cushion that was literally 10 mins old as it didn`t fit another duys bike well enough & he bought another size , saved $50 there too

I just shop around or wait for stuff to be reduced where I can
Cheers bud
Yep, That`s one of the reasons I looked for the same unit,, tried & tested on the Tens I reckon

Funny that about the number 5,, that`s where I ended up with it today a few times & ended up leaving it there
It felt good & steady but not too firm
Cheers
Thanx gents

Well after todays 70 klm ride (blacktop though) I can safely say that the thing makes a big difference…
Turned it up and nearly ran straight thru a corner after having to slow right down due to the number of bikes around (Toy Run) Damn thing didn`t want to turn at all  :laugh:It will be fun over the coming weeks playing around with the dials and finding the right settings for me .
Need to do a few loops and slot in Watagan Creek Rd again , my favourite run
CheersWell I might be a tad biased on this topic
But it has been mentioned on here by someone of prominence that ,,,A 660Z was once a Dream Bike of mine
Yes, I rode TB`s a few times and was hooked and saving towards a purchase
But I eventually came to a similar conclusion to yourself, that it was a handful of bike in tight, slow stuff and I wanted to be able to go where I liked to go rather than where the bike dictated…I have spent some $$$ on extra gear for my 690, but shopped around for secondhand near new or cheap buys and am slowly building it up over the past 2 years.. The Damper was a classic result of not wanting to spend $895, so I wrote the idea off and now the superceded model was available heaps cheaper (more than $400 off)

Also no big tanks for me,, just add a bladder and roll it up.
Seat too hard on longer multi day rides,,,, buy an Airhawk and strap it on as needed (got that cheap too) :laugh:What the guys have already said is spot on,, there is no bike that will do it all straight out of the box in comfort.. In any case,, building the machine and adding farkles is all part of the fun right ???? :woohoo:
Good Luck mate whatever way you end up in deciding
A great morning out on two wheels once again

Had some light sprinkles on the way over to the start, met up with PTW and some other dudes and had a mad dash to The Foreshore ,, bikes everywhere
All safe, no incidents and a tonne of toys and cash donated,, I will update after I see the expected totals on tonights News.
Also enjoyed a few cold frothy beverages afterwards on the harbourside with Mr, Mrs and the little Wulfs ,, Cheers mate

I missed this Jeffro

Would have much rather preferred it than workin all weekend :S :pinch:
Well,,
The bike ,, I Mean “RUDOLPH” is ready to go in the morning
Cleaned, shined, blinged up and a couple of passengers ready to jump on for the ride to Stockton…Planning on arriving there about 9am this year, last year was a torrent of machines trying to get into the park around 9.30
Will tak to you when you arrive PTW and anyone else that turns up.
I will be there with a couple of blokes from work as well .All for a Great cause
