The route for the day is approx 680k , and there is plenty of dirt & some interesting things to see along the way
Wisemans, Colo, Mountain Lagoon, Mt Irvine Trail, Black fellows Hand Rock, Lost City and the rolling hills of Portland of course :laugh:
It will need a fairly early start to get there and allow time for fuel stops, a look here & there if desired and of course lunch somewhere on the way :whistle:Damn, daylight saving would have been handy for this :laugh:
Route can be altered to shorten it up if required to around 400k
That still includes Black Fellows Hand Trail but not the Mt Irvine loop ,,,Actually had no idea you could smoke Corn :whistle:

I have from here to Sunny Corner sorted, depending on what time I get away. Will be runng the Go Cruise, but can load it onto the Garmin as well as a backupWill pm my email to you again just in case you have lost it again :laugh:

Yeah, but I presumed the sat ride was starting elsewhere at the time I am still super keen to stick to the plan, lucky I put in for the friday off hey ??? Might call on you to carry my black can supplies then as well

I can ride to the camp on the friday no worries, there were a few others keen on riding down too, Ace was one that comes to mind ,,, I will try & lure them out & hatch a friday ride plan to get thereWill keep you posted on the other stuff as it unfolds ,,,,

Back on topic, this birthday ride is gathering some serious momentum it seems
I have the friday off too at this stage (unless I change jobs before then, which is on the cards) :whistle: will deal with that drama later ,,,,,,So with the new plans, is there any idea of the start point for the Adv ride to the campsite TB ??? Looks as though we may have to see what numbers there are and set a meet point & time closer to the day
I was thinking of maybe a few guys starting from my place on the friday arvo and camp maybe St Albans common, or a real early start sat morning & ride to Sunny Corner (similar to MickP & co last year, but they arrived pretty late) :S
If my job plans come off though, I may be out for the entire weekend!!! :dry:

I sold my camper yesterday and the buyer is coming down to finalise the deal on the weekend sometime,,, I have to give him the run down & set it up & pack it up again (good salesman I am) :laugh:Work dependant, I might be able to get out ,,,, will watch this space & let ya know later in the week
