I must say that I am bummed to be not going on this one, but a tad relieved as well to be honest as I`m no fan of seriously cold conditions

I will throw in my screwdrivers I use to adjust the clickers etc into the backpack for tomorrow if you want.
I have the settings as far as standard, sport and full load if that is any use in the short term before getting the suspension retuned :whistle:The preload and sag adjustments would be out for you too mate, that makes a big difference to the rear (especially if old mate was a small bloke)
I can email you the pdf file for the workshop manuals if you don’t have them also
Pm me you email address mate and I`ll send those tonightApril 26, 2014 at 7:15 am in reply to: Rideadv is doing the High Country May 2nd, 3rd and 4th #256207Lefty wrote:Jeffro wrote:The wheels are balanced Lefty. It is not so much a vibration type shake it is where the bars wobble back and forth sort of like a high speed wobble. maybe 690 head shake mate. have you got a steering damper?
640 seems to be ok, but I have never ridden a 690.Left one
Rims balanced maybe, but have they been re balanced since fitting the new rubber ?? Could that be the difference
I haven`t rebalanced mine since fitting new tyres the past 4 changes of the front, but have had no evidence of shake (I do have a damper fitted though)Most likely a reimann vid of some sort and Andy has been on the sherbets and most likely doesn`t know what he` s after
You must mean this clip of Mr ReimannYeah Shane,
Even at 36k Aus, then there would be import taxes and ADR compliance if possible :S
Good luck with your search for info and availability.I`m sure it would be a magnet for admirers if you managed to secure one out here mate
Man, That is the bike the Spanish girl Laia Sainz rode at Dakar isn`t it ??
Wouldn`t much change out of 55k to land one in Aus I reckon :S
I could be wrong, but would be surprised juat the same:laugh:
I thought the unofficial Wauchopian Mayor had already been demoted and Toes had been elected to tell the truth.😆
I hope to be able to attend one of these weekends later in the year mate …
Thanx again to all involved in making it happen
I reckon 50 celebratory Goats roaming the backyard of the Boondog residence should suffice just fine Snowey
