    Have a great trip gents!!!

I must say that I am bummed to be not going on this one, but a tad relieved as well to be honest as I`m no fan of seriously cold conditions

    Enjoy and be safe

    Yeah,
She was a wet day mate , and still is here
I had no voice with the flu symptoms by this arvo and the missus is happy about that  , glad I stayed indoors to tell the truth.
Off to Sydney early tomorrow for a course so thought I`d better stay dry today and wimped it, loaded up on codrals and soothers instead

Good to hear you guys are sorted and confident for the upcoming trip,
Enjoy the adventure gents and good luck hey B)

Great action shots once again Murph :woohoo:

Great weather for riding today, especially after the wet yesterday and the night before :S
100mm fell in places I think

I`m off to the Wattos and out to Finchley/Yengo NP tomorrow with Jeffro and OFBM, should also be good weather for that I reckon :)

    Cheers

    Hey Jeffro,
I will throw in my screwdrivers I use to adjust the clickers etc into the backpack for tomorrow if you want.
I have the settings as far as standard, sport and full load if that is any use in the short term before getting the suspension retuned

The preload and sag adjustments would be out for you too mate, that makes a big difference to the rear (especially if old mate was a small bloke)

I can email you the pdf file for the workshop manuals if you don’t have them also ;)
Pm me you email address mate and I`ll send those tonight

The wheels are balanced Lefty. It is not so much a vibration type shake it is where the bars wobble back and forth sort of like a high speed wobble.

 maybe 690 head shake mate. have you got a steering damper?
640 seems to be ok, but I have never ridden a 690.

    Left one ;)

Rims balanced maybe, but have they been re balanced since fitting the new rubber ?? Could that be the difference
I haven`t rebalanced mine since fitting new tyres the past 4 changes of the front, but have had no evidence of shake (I do have a damper fitted though)

    Yeah Shane,
Even at 36k Aus, then there would be import taxes and ADR compliance if possible :S
Good luck with your search for info and availability.

I`m sure it would be a magnet for admirers if you managed to secure one out here mate ;)
