Travel safe all and watch out for the double demerit bandits on the roads too hey ???

Still running the original pump mate (where`s a tree to touch now I`ve put that in writing)Thanx for the thoughts gents, but no chance of getting on the High Country ride unfortunately :pinch:

Been coming for near 12 months now and I have survived other culls and at least I made it to the end of the project I suppose
Other bad news was that there were other peeps dealt the same hand today at the factory I just got back from :dry:Just a damn shame to be in this situation now when you know who can`t see what`s going on with manufacturing in this country
A Reminder, No political debates please, here is not the place for those to be aired

December is too long to wait ,,,, surely ????????????Well,

Arrived back at work today and got the ass within 4 hours :SNo thanx for a job well done, thanx for spending time away from the family, nothing, just here`s your redundancy paperwork and your not required after Thursday :S
Anyway, at least now I can get ready for the next stage in my working career (whatever that may be) ???

Great little pre run report BW
Another rider joins the masses of ADVers having a ball hey, even in the pissing down rain ??
Good onya mate, just don`t tell Boony what he is missing out on :laugh:Spewin` to be missing this ride myself again (I`ll be missing a few more yet this year though unfortunately)
Cheers
Belated birthday wishes Tez
Just got back from working in QLD and missed this thread yesterday …
Good stop over that pub at St Albans hey ?
It`s a good campover spot but the ground across the road is like concrete :laugh:Cheers mate
It only takes one Dickhead neighbour to make complaints to stuff everything unfortunately :pinch:
I feel for the owners of the property and wonder what overall percentage of their intake came from bikes opposed to 4×4`s ??
Could be a make or break decision, then again, they may thrive and get more campers frequenting the place once word is out that bikes are a “NoGo” :whistle
Wonder if they should but a fleet of Electric KTM Freerides and let them cut sick noise free !!!
That could be a winner :laugh:Yeah same here H
,
Dear SPOT Customer,
We are aware that some of you experienced delays sending messages from your SPOT devices over the past weekend. As soon as we learned of this issue, we worked quickly to resolve it and at this time, all messages that were sent should have now been delivered. Messages are now being transmitted normally.
If you have any additional questions, please contact Customer Care at FindMeSPOT.com/ContactUs or 1.866.OK1.SPOT.
Thank you for your continued loyalty,
The SPOT TeamWell funny situation this is,
I got my Check in OK message today at 11.30 (nearly 24hrs after I sent it)
My wife even rang me to ask why I had left work to go riding ??? :laugh:Sounds like there was a glitch of some kind over the weekend, which would have been shit if I had an incident riding solo and was still lying out there 24 hrs later :S
Pays to double check operation of the device before leaving home I guess , especially on a multi day ride
It may have been an issue with the Spot site yesterday H,,
I had the same problem with mine and only found out late yesterday when I got home & the missus was pissed as she hadn`t received an OK message all day, then couldn`t see anything on screnn when she checked juat before I arrived home
This is the forst timke this has happened to mine in 3 years of use mate, it`s normally reliable , but that`s what you buy them fir, to work when shit hits the fan :whistle:I will check the operation this arvo after work to see if it`s ok now
Damn,
There was mention by someone he may have been from Newy, but then all pointed to the ACT ???
Hope he recovers well & as quick as possible mate :whistle:Is he a mate of yours Storky?
ECKS-Man wrote:Good one Wags! You may find that bridge is actually a State Forest effort rather than Council. Which will only make it less likely to be sorted in a hurry!Your spot on Ecks
I have done some research tonite and it is State Forests (the signs were forestry signs on the trail as well)
The bridge is a convict bridge from the Great North RD, so it may just end up looking like the” Flat Circuit Bridge” near Mogo Creek on the way to St Albans  Rock slabs that will stand forever with no top whatsoever :pinch:
That bridge would have been built using exactly the same structure. Will be interesting to watch, as the creek rd is a well used access into and out of the Watagans as well as a vital fire fighting access road for the RFS.
Maybe Murph can get a gig as a consultant and find & then build a route around ???
Your spot on Cowboy,
It was a terrific head clearing day (except for the 4×4`s) -
