It was never in doubt mate,
He`s apparently from the ACT and there is a pic of the rescue and now pics of his silver Strom on the rocks online on ADV forum :whistle:It didn`t catch fire, but that`s probably all it`s good for now :pinch:
Yeah guys,
A day on the bike is 1000 times better than a day at work Or shimming valvesThat was my last ride for a month as I`m finally heading off to Maryborough at the end of this week.
Then Easter is here for the usual run to Nundle I think (without the bike again)I might do a couple more days like this when I`m back, just poking around some old trails, seeing what`s out there and the condition of the local forest ,,,
Might even have an overnight campout out there somewhere and see if I can dodge the wildlife 😆Cheers

At least you can admit defeat there SnowySounds exactly like my old Kwaka shim job I did a few years back.
You will be surprised at how easy the damn thing starts after whacking the shims in, she will start as soon as you go near the magic buttonNo idea why you need to wait for” Shims” !!!
There`s an over abundance of those type that ride with you isn`t there ????? :sick:Good luck with the install mate, My hint is to let Damus do it for ya …
Cheers

pm sent Toes,
But I think he has little or no service up there :whistle:If you can fall that far and survive on your trail bike, I will be surprised
They reckon old mate fell 70m, I think it`s most likely higher than that and the rocks where he landed are huge :pinch:
There is a pic on ADV and one of the inmates apparently has access to a vid as well ,,,
And HE reckons the clearances are “FINE” Buzz
The old Kwaka 250 was doing similar and the clearances were ever so slightly out on exhaust side. Still within spec on intake side but would take 4-5 seconds cranking to start when cold, then fine when warmed .
Check then Snowy if you haven`t already,,, could most likely be the problem afterall mate
I aint even gonna start then
What about dirt or grit in the starter button ? You do hit the deck a bit too often
Loose connection on starter motor?G’day fatz & welcome to the Nuthouse
You are in a prime location with access for some great riding if your game to tag along with the Murphs & Dude gang ?
I`m sure they will be on to say hi (probably working today) and will be dead keen to drag you around some of their singles and maybe out to Amazon  :silly:Again welcome mate and hope you enjoy the
Damn it,,
I`ll still be in Maryborough till the 12th.
Sounds like you have a good day planned there Adam , would have been keen to catch up even for the smoko & lunchEnjoy it mate and run them ragged just for me

I don`t suppose you can even ban the guy if he didn`t activate his account in the first place ?? :laugh:Still feel bad for Janice(& Steve) though, I have always only even received great service and read about dozens of others receiving the same across multiple forums
