Well, C`Mon
Where`s all the piccies and stories ????
You have all been home long enough :laugh:Well I just couldn`t stay out of the shed after the MotoGP was over,,,
Replaced Spark Plug, Tick
Removed and Tefgelled the Chain adjuster bolts in the swingarm, TickI remember Mick having all sorts removing his on the XR a while back :S SO better safe than sorry down the track
Damn I had some fun cleaning all the chain guides as the previous owner had used excessive lube on the chain I reckon, and the crap was gunked thick in all the grooves etc & black as the ace of spades
I had noticed it before, but was waiting to run out the sprockets & chain before the big cleanup anyway ,,,New sprockets should arrive early this week and thats it, Job Done

Yeehaa
??? Yeah, Not bad I `spose
He almost lost it but hung on to the thing to finish No.1 on his birthday :woohoo:Yeah Puds,,,
You sounded keen as to give the DR a run to Nundle the other day when we spoke on the phone
It looks the business and would be a great buy for anybody looking for a setup ADV ride !!! At 5000k it isn`t even run in yet !!!Hope all is ok mate
With the upcoming trip to Nundle via Wauchoppy I decided I better get my backside into gear and do some maintenance.
So this morning the steed has had –Check Headstem bearing play, Tick
Coolant replaced , Tick
New Oil/ Liquid Gold, Filters & Oil screens, Tick
Rear wheel removed ready for the new Supersprox Sprocket (ordered from Scotty at Suttos), Tick
Front sprocket removed ready for new front from Suttos, Tick
New chain ready to go , Tick
Front bearings checked when I rotated tyre the other day, Tick
Lube various other moving parts, Tick
Wound up all the clickers to compensate for the gear, TickNow to clean & check the chain guides so all is clean & ready to go back together
That ought to do it for today It`s too nice a day to spend it all in the shedAnd he needs a haircut
Tim that is :laugh:Keep `em coming Murph, I like seeing new victims in action on your rides :silly:
:woohoo:
You`ve done it again Murph
Good action piccies mate, I guess the new 5hungie performed well on Amazon & the Gate :whistle:Better you than me old man
Cheers & hope to catch you at Nundle with Dude
So I take it you are keeping the DR for more adventures Deej ???
Well done mate on completing your forst big adventure ride
And you made it ti the Corner on forst attempt :woohoo: Something that is unheard of on here in the past
Cheers, Looking forward to the report & pics
Maybe “Good as Gold” Boulder was just too quick for the satellites to log onto him
Yeah, that`s it :woohoo:Nah, you will see when you have a look,,, It cames on a few times at various locations, but was very poor in the tracking (unless he turned it on at the said locations only, but I doubt that)
Yeah, The Cruze`s DPF has a cleaning light that comes on on the dash, flashing like a madman  The process is to keep driving, drop it back a gear and keep the revs over 200rpm for between 8 to 12 minutes or till the light goes out . This apparently enables it to burn off the soot (hence all the smoking we had)
If it can`t clean it, a service light then comes up & the dealer has to clean or changeot the filter
Boulder`s was on the blink the whole trip pretty much
Nicks worked perfectly as did yours, so on the shoulder might be an option then for solo riding
CheersHard to get the logo to face the sky on your body ????? Unless you stick it to the top of your lid
On shoulder would be pain in the arse hitting the side of your helmet etcI suppose it is best on the body in the case of an off for sure (so you can hopefully hit the button) just not so good for tracking function, but the rescue alarm is the priority
Thanx, I will give it all some thought
Don`t you blokes have jobs to go to ????

:Eags it needs to face the satellites mate, the spot symbol on the front that is
TB
Yeah, I thought that was the case, looks like the tankbag is the go then for this run till I can sort something else
Not keen on another thing on the bars at present :pinch:Maybe strapped to the back of the bike on top of the bags like I think Nick does at times ????
