BOLLOCKS wrote:After a lenghty discussion with the great Boony,we have agreed that there will we adventure riding on this ride aswell :cheer:
It is the Old Bulls Christmas ride, and there are plenty of Old Bulls out there who Adventure ride and the mixing of both riding categories will make this on hell of a weekend :woohoo:
I personaly will be taking both bikes to Nundle.Dirt squirting Friday arvo, and adventure riding Saturday and Sunday morning.
you can either adventure ride to Nundle,or bring your bike on a trailer, your call
I will need confirmation from members and what you want to do.
If the expressions of interest from members is positive the ADV ride will be Saturday and Sunday.
PM me so i can add you to the list below.ADV riders
Bollocks Sat & SunUnsure just yet Boll, But if I can`t organise a trailer to get the bike there I will probably go for your idea.
Maybe MickP, Lotsa, Gav, Joe etc will be interested in riding up, if that is the case I might tag along cause it is a ripper run up thru that way to Nundle by all reportsBol :woohoo:
Sounds a little like me on Sunday

Nundle is an awsome place to ride, and the Berry Patch lunch is always a pearler :woohoo:Will be away for a couple of weeks prior to the party so will be hanging for a ride by then
Hey Beagle, why dont you run the ADV ride from newy up and then the ADV ride to the berry patch and around the area?
Boony
I don`t think so at this stage mate
Unless there is a big interest in a run like that with decent numbers, then it could be possible.
I`d rather the usual trail on the sat though, its always good riding (even with the old trails gone) :SIf I can get a bike transported up I am in

I bought the 100 gm tube which is a fair whack of putty and plan to keep half of it in my bumbag from now on
You know, I had thought of getting some for abut a year now & never needed it till Sunday  :pinch:Cool bananas
Give us a report after camerons (they should be grouse)I spotted Scala Headsets at SCA the other day on clearance for $155
or have you already got them Mick ?Talk to this bloke Boll http://www.dmme.com.au/
He is an ADV member & Steve from ADV Moto would know him anyway….
Apparently he is good with this stuff, it is his businessSeptember 19, 2011 at 9:39 pm in reply to: Yarramalong to the Wattos, Millfield & back (sort of) #209090ALL SORTED
Pulled the switchblock totally apart, good cleanout with Contact Cleaner , bit of inspection and presto she fired into life
Back together with a good hit of Electrical Silicone and she is perfect,,, Also consumed a couple of cold beers in the processTest ride to work tomorrow to check the radiator repair
I try to remember to open the Bleed Screws after each full days ride and store the bike up on a liftstand when not riding (if it is sitting for mare than two days anyway)
Think it helps with reducung pressure & wear on the seals etc, could be wrong but it can`t hurt I reckon
Good read so far guys,,,
Where`s the rest of the pics/vids ?????

It was one of those stupid ohh F%#* moments really,,,
Still shaking head after running hot & wide into first corner after lunch, then seeing offending vehicle through the trees coming at Kat in the middle of the track , watching, watching, still watching as Kat squeezed by but not watching what or where I was going :dry:Doh!!! Too Late
There was also a ratehr deep hole/drain just another metre oast where I stopped which I had no intention of ploughing into head first (would have looked like Mick on the Hill End ride in his famous ditch shot) :silly:September 18, 2011 at 9:39 pm in reply to: Yarramalong to the Wattos, Millfield & back (sort of) #209087Glad you all find it amusing
Anyway, this arvo I completed the repair to the radiator guard mount.
Had cleaned out the putty from yesterday, sanded the area, thoroughly degreased it etc
Then applied the “Knead It” Auto Epoxy Putty in a nice bead, before tapping the lug back into place before applying some more then smoothing off
After an hour cure I whacked on some paint, near as good as new
Gonna let it set another 24 hours before a test run to double & triple check for any leak. I reckon it should be apples, it was a rather small leak anyway & the lug popped back in rather firmly with a light tap.
Will be watching it very closely for a few weeks just in caseNickj wrote:Got a bit of maintenance done on the Tenere for this rideNew brake pads front and rear
New wheel bearings and seals front and rear
New sprockets
Next is new ultra heavy tubes , new tyres , new chain , grease linkage and headset , check all nuts and bolts and oil and filter change !
Let me know what you think of the Supersprox Sprockets when you return Nick,
I am going with those on the 690 next (Camerons Run should be a good test)Cheers
