Ice it is I can tell ya,,, not much sympathy here after being gone from home on what I called a “few hrs ride with some dudes” that ended being a 13 hr outing :laugh:Ankle is not too bad after being strapped to the hilt all day & in tight work boots, iced again this arvo, will be tender for a week or two or three :whistle: :whistle:
It was a good day out nonetheless, only two trees left still on the trails.
I managed to sneak back to within 10k of Laguna till I borrowed a litre of fuel from Mark. At least now I know I can make it out there & back (sort of)

I might add that Dean is a top 10 rider in the likes of Erzbergs, Romaniacs, Aus Safari and heading for Dakar 2012Still a big effort I think
:laugh: Relax, The Orange Lemon is in the shed tucked away safe & sound (no damage) just bent the rear brake lever slightly & loosened the hand guard. Fixed them on the trail & underway quickly but dropped it again later cause I couldn`t hold it up with the leg on a rough trail edge :whistle: Funny as, Choot saw it unfold & said it looked “nice & slow” :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
One thing I learnt real quick is ,,,
The pannier bag plates save plastics real well, But F&*@ ankles real quick
I will be on the beast again wed to ride to work :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: And it will still be dirty I think , that`ll teach it

So the plates have entered the next prototype stage :laugh:Cut, sanded, drilled & fitted this arvo (silicone in between plates & racks to stop vibration),

I will not be solo, there are a couple of options I have to choose from
I want to get some miles in (but not too many) testing out the new rack & plate system on dirt.Might even hook up with the ORE crew & head out to 3 ways aferall (will see how I go on the cans this evening) :laugh:
If no other starters by 9pm I will go that way

There are some guys from ORE that were heading that way (to 3 Ways) but maybe moving their run to Saturday now due to the weather forecast :unsure: ,,,
SO I will head out there Sunday (Laguna/ Yengo) sounds like a plan
