Ive got feeler gauges for cleaning out weeping fork seals and a Ballards mini chain breaker (its a good piece of gear). Spare gear lever………

TB has pretty well got it covered

I found the fender bags to be no good. I lost one with quite a few bucks worth of tools in it and another one came flying off but I saw it and stopped to pick it up, haven’t used one since.
No bumbag for me its all in a tool roll and put in my Camel Back

A couple of well placed Strong cable ties (thru metal loops on the Fender bag & aroung Fork Leg or similar point) will help in that situation LC:whistle: I did almost lose mine once but the cable ties tip I picked up elsewhere helped a lot;)
Also forgot to mention that I carry a torch too ,,,,,
And along the lines of an “ICE TAG” but El Cheapo, I have a laminated sheet with a copy of my licence, emergency contact details, Blood Type etc etc

Might try & do some pics tomorrow arvo if I can find all my gear (it`s downstairs somewhere in the Man Cave)

    Yeah, good thread this one,,,,,

Mine is pretty much the same, but I also have a good quality pocket knife, a Multi tool knife & a ciggy lighter in there as well ;)
Recently added a silver shock blanket, after we used one on the Caves to Caves ride with AidanK on his Beemer:whistle:
I do carry a smallish first aid kit in my backpack, but the blanket was an adition I thought of;)

    Keep the ideas coming guys

Hey I would like to come on this 3rd bday ride, is it just show up on the day?

Yep, now that you are an OLD BULL mate, just show up at the start point.
Good idea to read the frist post carefully on this one, as you need to bring everything to be self sufficient (camp gear, food, fuel, grog etc etc) It will be carried by one of the 3 support cars, but you need to have it there for the start;)

I`m sure TB will chime in, as he is the main organiser as such

    Cheers

I have the four burner that I used last year on the Poker Run & Xmas BBQ mate, but would be good if someone closer has one to throw in a trailer:dry:

No need for any apologoes I reckon Jimbo,
Some good point are raised in that thread by all I reckon;)

I too like TB, had visits from police one day as there was a complaint rung in about ilegals ripping back & forth down our residential street,,,, I happened to be washing my bike in the back yard (which opened to a back dirt access road where the bikes rode)
He quizzed me on where I ride & checked my rego etc etc etc, we got to chatting for a long time on the local issues & there was a fully enclosed trailer he was interested in catching parked there, as it was out of rego by 18 months:huh:
He never caught them, cause they spotted his car & took off for another 4 hrs into the scrub & waited for him to go (there were about 8 bikes he could have got too)

We seem to be fighting a never ending battle to keep our sport clear of idiots, maybe we never will, who knows???

    Cheers mate
