    Great idea this one ;)

I was blown away when I heard of Mal`s illness the other week while chatting to TB, and my thoughts are with him & his family pretty often I can tell ya.
I struggle to think of many people that fit into the category where Mal sits, always bending backwards to help others. Many times over he has helped me with parts & tyres etc and always beat local prices & service hands down, even sourced parts that Sutto`s didn`t have on their shelf ;)

When I met him face to face for the first time (at Wollombi Tavern) he was all smiles & happy to chat as if we were long time friends. He is just such a nice guy & easily approachable to boot. If I don`t get to see Mal in the future, that is the memory I will have of him B)

So this idea of a charity fundraiser will be one to keep running for years to come & hopefully bring some comfort and assistance to many needy organisations.

Dig deep guys, it just may help more of us in the future……..

With a bit of Shed Time this arvo & the help of another good mate, I acquired a nice bit of GYTR Stainless exhaust that had been cut off during a graft of an exhaust to another bike ;)

Low & behold, with a bit of tinkering it fits to the Kwaka`s header & makes the job that much closer to completion :)

    Got the two hooked together

Made a little bracket to attach to the existing rear footpeg mount

Then gave the header pipe a bit of a cleanup (it looked crap with the staino pipe)

So now all that needs to be done is the jetting,,,
I need to wear earplugs at all times when riding now,,, even to work I think :silly:

I too am on the fence with this,,,

We just recently made the decision to sell our home of the past 18 yrs that ewe built, raised our kids in & thought we would be in forever (till retirement anyway) etc etc
One of the big deciding factors was in fact unrego`d bikes on residential street & on the dirt rd behind our property that is access to Private Property.

My missus could not even use our clothes line because of the constant dust from idiots tearing it up back & forth when there is 100 acres beyond the back fence

I love bikes as much as the rest of you, but it really pisses ya off when it is on you boundary day after day after day !!!!!

    Rant Over ;)

    Yeah,
$160 sounds a bit steep to me for a kit. Can`t find any on FleaBay at the moment but leave it with me & I will sort the exhaust first, then might look for a deal on the JD KIT.

Thanx anyway, will keep you in mind for sure, cold be a good catch up with you & Sal for a BBQ ;)
